Glad you found who she belonged to. No need for a transfer.
|Sandy Cantrell Lindeman||Brummetts in Plainview TX|
I was taking photos at Parklawn Mem. Garden in Plainview today. Next to Henry and Maudie Brummett was a stone with just the name Cora LaRue. The cemetery list stated her last name was Brummett, so I thought it might have been someone you had been looking for. I posted a memorial for her, so if you want it transferred to you, let me know.

thanks for taking the time to check into the confusing dates for Stella. and you are most welcome for the photo.
The Brummett's, on my family tree, are a bit lacking as far as info goes. I only know that my 2nd great grandmother was Alcy Brummett (parents unknown at this time). She was born in Tennessee in 1824. Married my 2nd great-grandfather, William Loy (b.1818). Their daughter, Harriett Hazeltine Loy (b.1859,TN, d.1931,OK) is my great-grandmother.
I'm interested to see if there's any connection of your Brummett's coming from Tennessee...

Obituary added. One of his grandsons, Shahn Laymance worked in my department at Mansfield Hospital while he was still in high school. Was surprised to see his name come up.

You sent me some Edits regarding Elsie S Ensminger-Featherston, who was married twice. Are you related to Elsie, and if yes, how are you related? Before I act on your Edits, I would like to know where you got the information and what documentation you have for the following:
Place of birth being other than Salem
Maiden name spelling
Name of mother

I'm sorry but the cemetery that Ella & William are listed to be in is not correct. I have been a part of Arkansas Cemetery work for years & have good information on Ashley County, Arkansas cemeteries. There is not any record of Creek Cemetery in Ashley County, which makes Ella & William's burial locations Unknown. I only link to known burials. One of the other burials listed in this cemetery should be listed in Flat Creek Cemetery & the other one is listed by Ronald Walton who is a very good African American Geologist that is in New York, he works with his niece Tonia whom I know personally. The town of Hector, Arkansas is 160 miles from where Ashley County, Arkansas is listed.
Sorry but everything about this is wrong. I am certain you have the right parents, but someone has placed them in the wrong cemetery on Find A Grave along with a very bad death date. I hope you are able to find them. They are not listed on any Arkansas Cemetery Web site. The LDS site lists burial in Creek Cemetery in Sebastian County, which I a certain is wrong also. However, I have found 2 cemeteries in Sebastian County that where unknown before I located them. I know if you keep looking you will find correct burial locations. It took me 25 years to find my G-Grandparents burial locations & have yet to find their parents location. What is very bad is when someone puts up the wrong information & causes others to use it as certain fact. I will continue to research Ella (or Ellen) & William myself & if I find anything I will certainly let you know. It could be possible that instead of Creek they are buried in Cross along with 2 of their children, Emma Scott & Sidney. It is close to Jenny Lind where it is listed that William died, on LDS. It has been several years since I did a photographic survey on Cross Cemetery, so I cannot remember if there are any areas next to them that are open.
