I've been 'graving' for a number of years and admit I'm rather addicted. However, with so many advertisements on this site slowing it down, I frequently get too frustrated to upload my research and photos. AUGH! |
Still, my favorite 'graving adventure' is seeking out and recording/researching old or forgotten cemeteries. I love researching people's histories and including what information I can in the bios. Interesting facts, legend....whatever...I will gladly include any information (within reason, of course) to any memorial I have or to transfer management to family members. I will also be happy to share information I may have regarding sources. Though I frequently include death certificate information in bios, I choose not to post death certificate images on my memorials out of respect for relatives who may visit. I respectfully ask photo contributors to do the same. Information in edit requests, if not sent with a source or other supporting information, may be included in the bio. My interest is to gather and share information that may be interesting or even important to others who research their family. For that reason, I do not post 'virtual flowers' unless I can add something to the memory of the person. While I enjoy researching many memorials and sharing information I may find, I can not research them all and welcome accurate input.

I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to the History of the 89th Division, Frank B. Holland was slightly wounded on 9/30/1918. His gravestone partially confirms he was a part of my grandfather's unit.
I'm not exactly sure where I'm going with my project, but want to eventually publish something. Would it be permissible to use your photograph of the grave of Frank B. Holland (Find A Grave Memorial# 39983617) should I eventually publish something?
With warm regards,
This grave 43716884 is my great grandfather could I please maintain his site

This person is interred in the Major Cemetery, not the Buchanan. The correct memorial # is 13034984
