Bio Photo NOTE: I am happy to transfer memorials to family members and/or friends so don't hesitate to ask!

As I'm sending a number of you changes* for your pages, additions, etc., please know that I do thank you even if I don't send each of you a thank you - THANKS to you all. (*The changes I'm finding are in the "Variety Obituaries" series of books.)

Author of "The Stars of Hollywood Forever," "The Stars of Hollywood Forever: 1901-2006" and most recently "The Stars of Hollywood Forever - A Who's Who of Hollywood's Final Resting Place" and "The Stars of Hollywood Forever Revisited." Check the latest version out on ""

* A note from Find a Grave: Tony Scott's book is highly recommended. Wonderfully detailed and accurate. I've been using it for years...and it's been updated by the author regularly!

Hi Tony,
Thanks for your input regarding Jellyroll Morton!
Alas, I am going to delete the memorial because there is an existing memorial (# 2691) on Find a Grave!
Mine was a duplicate!

Hi Tony-I have to apologize, as I thought your edit said "birth" rather than "death". I have made your change request. Irma

Emma Maline (Campbell) Norwood
I am so grateful to you for posting Emma's headstone. She is my great grandmother, who lived in Nevada, became the first female postmaster in the state, contracted TB, and quit her job, took her four children to Los Angeles looking for a cure. She died less than a year after moving to LA. She had a tough but interesting life and I'm so glad she's memorialized. Thank you so much!!!

RE: Fred & Elizabeth Mayer
So sorry, Tony, it's been too long. I do recall that I worked the section of flat tablets in that Jewish section surrounded by a hedge that Estelle Getty is in. Around the time that was posted but can't be sure, James
