Concering Links, Corrections and Transfer Request:
Please use the "EDIT" on each memorial that way I have the memorial number and the contributor number, it makes it much easier to update, make links or transfer. For a transfer please state your connection to the memorial.

Please DO NOT leave Family Names and Memorial Numbers with a flower or token, PLEASE edit the memorial and I will be more than glad to make the links, Thanks.

James Andrew "Jimmy" Rye
Mrs. Kasberg,

I have recently purchased a 5 gallon jug that has been attributed to Jimmy Rye of Hamilton, AL. I was wondering if you had any information or photos of pottery / stoneware that was produced by Jimmy Rye of the Rye Jug Factory and your relationship to his family. I'm very interested in the history of Alabama Pottery and it's relationship to The Military Road or Settlement Road.

Many thanks,
Annette

Hello, do you happen to know where Daniel Sylvester Lockhart died in 1947? I can't find him in the Alabama death records. Thanks!

Mary K. Mitchell:
Joyce, yes Mary K. Hallmark Mitchell is indeed my g-g grandmother. Her husband,Francis Marion Mitchell my g-g grandfather is buried at Corinth National Cemetery in Corinth, MS. I have visited his gravesite. I had to prove this for my 3rd bar on my "Daughters of the American Revolution" ribbon. It was for Nimrod Mitchell, buried in SC.

Joyce, I really appreciate you making this Cemetery transfer for Nancy Belle Merrell Holley. I have just sent out a F-A-G request for a photo of her grave marker if there is one.
Thanks,
