Born Dec 12, 1945 in Columbia, Marion Co., MS to Arthur Goss Fortenberry, SR. and Roxie Elnora Coker Fortenberry. Graduated Columbia High School in 1964 and Mississippi State University in 1974. Retired from US Army in 1991. Retired from the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service as a Poultry Grader. Married to Barbara Jean Graves in 1967. Father of two daughters, who have given me two grandchildren each.
