Old North Church
Hi. I live in the area but am not sure Christ's Church is open to the public regarding your photo request. I thought you might enjoy this video from the Boston Globe regarding the tomb.

Jasper Smith and gradson
I was wondering about the picture you have posted of Jasper Smith and his grandson Clarence. I have never seen a young photo of Clarence, are you sure it is him? He was my grandfather and would love to have a copy of this picture. Thank you for any info.

RE: Link-
You go to the memorial, click on Edit Family Links, type in the numbers I gave you, and then click on Save Changes. That's it.

Hi Michelle,
I had noticed a message you had left on Erika Woody's page asking about John Newton Wacaster and I thought I'd drop in my 2 cents. I have heard through the family grapevine that John Wacaster was a bit of a criminal. His wife Fannie Queen left him, took the children with her and told him to leave and to never come back. It has been said that he moved to Kentucky and may be on the census there, but was never heard from again in NC. Fannie even changed her children's names to her maiden name of Queen because she did not want them associated with the Wacaster name. She applied for a widow's pension for John's service in the Union Army. I have documentation on that if you'd like to see it. Your uncle Robert, how is he related to John Wacaster?

RE: Elizabeth Hunsucker
Oh ok, my dad is descended from the Thomas family, and Elizabeth is one of his grandmothers (I don't know how many greats, though). Have you gotten some of the info from the Toe River Valley Heritage books? Thanks again, Erika

My mom's great grandmother was a McHone and grew up in Spruce Pine.

To make a transfer I think you go click onto the 'edit' tab, then click onto 'transfer memorial' and then enter my number.

RE: Waycasters
Hey Michelle, I don't have anything, my mom usually tells Robert what we have found as soon as we find it. I noticed that you had some photo requests for some Thomas's (Double Island) that are my kin people. How are you related to them? Coule we be related on my dad's side? His grandmother on his mom's side was Thomas before she married; her name is Lillie Thomas Robinson. Thanks, Erika

Michelle, if there is no relation to you, would you please transfer Wood and Jonie McHone to me?

Thank you.
