Bio and Links
Bio Photo Retired bean counter now tracking ancestors instead of numbers. Mother of three and grandmother of five fascinating grandchildren. Married to the same man for 50+ years.

Knew the names and cemeteries of all my grandparents and Ggrandparents before I could write. On one family trip we stopped at the Steekee Cemetery in Loudon,Tn. I transcribbed stones because my mother was so excited she couldn't write. Now 50+ years later I still use those notes!

I really appreciate your taking the time to get the photo of Leon and Peggy's markers which also confirmed the cemetery for both.

What is especially important is that you took the time to place a flag on his marker to honor his service in the Air Force on this Memorial Day.

Lest We Forget.

Thank you.

Mary, found several more of your WWI veterans at bryan city cemetery. There are a few you won't find because stones are gone or lost. One more to find there then we will move on to another cemetery. If I could get some flags we could be putting them on graves as we find them!

WWI soldiers
We were at several cemetery's yesterday hunting for soldiers and we found several of them. Pictures have been added to them. I will send you a list and gps readings when I get home. I will continue to hunt and help during the month. Some may be impossible! The cemeteries are so bad!

You're very welcome. All Aggies go to Heaven - I believe I have that right. There were no others with that name near him.

RE: 134365483 Eliza A McKibben
I thought I did add it as other. I just deleted it and re-added it as other. I usually always put any photo that isnt a picture of the person as other, so not sure what happened, but its under other now. THANKS so much.

I love the copy of the will that you put on Elizas memorial. However like death certificates the photo of the will & other types of documentation it needs to added as Other not as Person. Please see the Find a Graves rules. Thanks so much. Mary

I would like to pick up your photo request but Sparkman Hillcrest (SH) does not like to provide burial locations to volunteers, citing privacy issues. Your cooperation is needed in order for requests to be filled. The volunteers will need you to call SH and request the location. Their phone number is 214-363-5401. Once you have the location, please add it to your request. Thanks.
