Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am the family genealogist. Names I am researching:
Van Meter from NJ>OH>MO
Binkley from IN>IL>NE>CO
Adams from MA>IL>CO
Stauch from Prussia>IA>CA & WA
Scott from England>CA & WA

When I transcribe the headstones for Find A Grave, occasionally they are hard to read or I simply make a mistake. Please let me know if I have made an error & I will correct it!

You may use any of my photographs for your genealogical files and or trees.

Also, if you would like the memorial transferred to you, I'd be happy to do that also. Many of the memorials were taken on vacation and they are not related to my family at all, so I'd love for you to maintain them & add personal information, including obits, photos and bios!

Don't know which one, sorry I didn't make a note of it. I think it was in a National Cemetery. Many of the graves of African Americans were designated with USCT markings.

RE: Panos Headstones
P.S. Jacob Panos is about 5 graves away from a Juliana Panos. Is she on your tree, too. It looks like he had a oval photo on his tombstone but it either broke apart and was swallowed by the earth or someone pried it off and kept it for their genealogy. Let's hope it's the latter of the two and you can find the person who has it.

RE: Panos Headstones
That's sidewalk chalk. Many Findagravers look down on people who chalk tombstones but sometimes it's the only way to capture the info in a photo. It washes right off. I'll keep working your other Panos requests. It was windy and cold today so I didn't spend too much time walking around. As for Vencel Panos, you have him listed in Evergreen Cemetery and Mausoleum when he is actually in St. Mary. It's an easy change on Findagrave. If Vencel's wife Mary is next to him, she doesn't have a tombstone but you can see an unmarked grave next to him. Talk to you soon.
