Ritter's
Hi, my name is Mickey Laster, nee Ritter. My father Henry Ritter is the brother of Betty and Geri. Dad passed away in 2004. I am sorry that Betty and Geri are the only ones alive in 2012. What happened to Robert(Bob)Ritter, he was married to Rose. They lived in California.
I lost contact with family after my father died. Please give me an update. Thank you, Mickey

Cathy - Thanks for your reply.
Here is some more info I've located.
ON Adam Shaner, her husband, he has another findagrave site at memorial # 53886090 at the Krout Cemetery, MT Blanchard, Hancock,Ohio. Which also has a photo of the tombstone.
However no listing for her?

Have a wonderful Easter!, and thanks for you assistance and help.

Thank you!
Dear Cathy,

I look forward to hearing from you. You have not idea how much I appreciate your help. Catherine (Shambach) Riegle has been an EXTREMELY difficult person to research and, to make matters much worse, there are two DIFFERENT Catherine Shambachs who married two DIFFERENT George Riegles around the same time! The grave you just photographed appears to be the one I'm looking for. I hope you are successful at finding new clues. Thank you in advance for your help!

Jeff

RE: Burk/Burke
I wonder which J Burk he remembers. James Burk and Eliza Mae Baker came to Hancock County about 1885. They had five children. The oldest Dollie died in child birth. Jacob settled in Mt Blanchard about 1900 and married Florence Hook. They had two daughters, Mary Mae, and Helen Maxine. Ora Burk added the (e) to his last name around 1925. He lived in Findlay and mainly sold used cars. Harry lived in Arlington and later owned a trailer park in Findlay. Finally, my great grandmother was Libby Burk. She was married three times. First to Charles McClure, then Will Jacobs and then to Ellis Butler.
James Burk doesn't add the (e) to his name until 1927. Harry also starts adding an (e)about 1935. Jacob keeps Burk all his life.

Thanks so much for taking the time to take these pictures. It's interesting that the two brothers would spell their last name differently.
Thanks again,
Selena
