Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been interested in genealogy for 15 years and have enjoyed tracing my family. Got interested in Find A Grave in 2009 and enjoy adding to this site. Have found relatives from postings so use it frequently for research. Am happy to make any correction when asked and will transfer management of memorials to direct family members. I am retired now and find my time is filled with many things. Not sure how I had time to work but the retirement is very enjoyable. I enjoy traveling when have time.

RE: Memorial #86229301
Thanks for taking a second look. I really appreciate it. If you are there next spring and are in the area, another look at the headstone would be great. Otherwise, I still think you confirmed my suspicion that the memorial information isn't correct. I may try to reach out to the owner of the memorial on Findagrave as well. Thanks again!

Memorial #86229301
Thank you for taking and posting the photo of Rebecca Ford's headstone. The memorial shows Februrary 23, 1845 as the DOD and age 52. I had been questioning that info since I think I found Rebecca on the 1850 and 1860 census reports so your pictures are especially helpful. It appears the photos you took show a DOD of possibly Jan 186?. The age of death looks like she might possibly be in her 60's. Would you mind taking a look at your pictures to see if you can make out the dates on the stone. Thank you so much!!!!

I have - Richard M. 1845-1926 was the only son of Richard Henry Worrell and Margaret Fryman, and that she died before 1847 when Richard married your 3rd Great Grandmother - Orphe Livingood - I have their marriage certificate. So Richard and James Robert were step-brothers. Richard 1829-1892 had one child by Margaret Fryman, 9 children by Orphe and 4 more by Fannie Ashcraft. I am planning to go to Olney and Robinson in the next couple of weeks to see if I can find any other information. If any of that helps you :) Will let you know if I find anything else.

Moses is the middle name that I have always had for him. His son Richard Moses Worrell, Jr. went by Moses. Birth certificate for Esther Isabelle Worrell - daughter of Moses Worrel and Lillie Smith June 4, 1916 states "Moses" . Richard Sr. is my Great-grandfather. Thanks. I didn't see your original request for my source. Jean Watson

John Reed
My name is Jennifer Boykin. I have been searching for John Reed and I see that your name appears on the find a grave site for John Gaylon Reed.

I am hoping you can help me.

I have been working with Joel Chambers with I have very little information on the person I am looking for. The information I have is John Reed who was born in IL in 1933. His mother would have been born in 1910 and his father died in 1942. This information was provided on my non-identifying information sheet that I got when I was relinquished for adoption. John Reed is my birth father.
I have done the DNA thorugh Ancestry and Joel has been doing a lot of searching and we keep hitting a dead end. The closest Joel can get is to Harold G. Reed born in 1928. His father is John Gaylon Reed. Harold's mom is Mary Alice Davis Zimmerle. Harold Reed of Denver, CO is mentioned in Mary Davis Zimmerle's find-a-grave listing:

I am wondering if you are familiar with these people or know how to contact them. Joel was thinking that maybe Harold went by the name John but the dates areen't lining up and it just doesn't feel "right" . What I do know is that John Reed worked at Continental Airlines at LAX in Los Angeles as a Steward. My birth mother worked with him there. I have a picture of him from April 1966 that I can send you if you pass along your email address.
I am hoping you can help me put this puzzle together and also hoping I am not opening up a can of worms in asking for your help.
Any information or suggestions you can provide would be very much appreciated.

Thank you.
