I never claimed to be normal by anyone's standards but my own. Find most people's standards to high for an imperfect world. Mother of 2 (Daughter and Son), Step parent to 3 grown young men. On January 13th, 2008 Married my Officer and Gentleman with a Harley Bad Boy Attitude. Things I like to do... A thru Z way too many to list here you see... well okay a few highlights. Collecting thimbles from places I travel. I enjoy all sorts of needle-crafts, reading, archery, camping, fishing, patio gardening and miniature roses; horseback riding, scuba diving, geocaching with GPS and grave headstone photography for my mother. These are just a few things I like to do in spare time. |
I am involved in community/social groups such Order of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Republic of Texas, Daughters of the Nile, Red Hat Society, Letterboxing and Geocaching Community.
At this time I am not actively doing genealogy research, but occasionally will go out for a Findagrave.com request and try hard to fulfill that request when asked.

Thank you so much for the fulfilling of the headstone photo requests. Also I had two for the Hightower Twins and believe they are in one of the older plots with the concrete fence around it so if you find yourself out there and you see a tall memorial with Hightower on it please look. The stones for the twins are flat.
No problem if not possible.
Be careful as they tell me the ground is very uneven and lots of fallen headstones and sunken graves are there.....

1910 Federal Census lists "Sudie" as daughter of Litton B. and Melissa Anderson.
Susanna's death certificate lists her parents as L.B. Anderson and Melissa Duff.
Death Certificate states she was buried in the Copperas Cove Cemetery. The cemetery only has a record of "Sudie A. Hester".
Two separate family trees on Ancestry.com show Sudie and Susanna to be the same.
I deleted the photo from Find-A-Grave, so you may have to request it again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The cemetery records do NOT list Susanna Hester, only "Sudie A. Hester".
Browsing through the interweb, I came across a family tree that someone had incorporated this name as the same. Searching now,I am unable to find it again and have spent enough time looking.
It is not uncommon for someone to utilize their last name or initial as their middle name. (I had an aunt who hated her middle name, so throughout her married live, she always used her maiden name initial as her middle name).
I understand your concerns for accuracy. I have deleted the photo.
