|Una Koontz||Frederick Koontz|
Frederick Koontz is my grandfather. I would like to add some information: the death dates of his 2 sons, his wife's full name and birth and death dates. Are you a relative?
|Darcie L||William Widrig & Jane Vosberg|
Thank you for posting the details in memorial #57499069. I would like to confirm vital dates and details for this family if you have sources you are willing to share. Are they available anywhere online? I have census data for the family but would like other records, particularly anything showing the Vosberg maiden name. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

|Suzanne||Jane Owen Broadbridge|
Hi, Just tweaking the Owen family of Marine City - and letting you know that Jane Owen Broadbridge was the daughter of Easton Owen and Matilda Bonney, not Benjamin F. Owen and his first wife Abba Ward.
Easton and Benjamin were brothers. Easton and Abba both died, and Benjamin and Matilda, former in-laws and now widowed, married each other. To make matters more complex, Benjamin and Matilda had a daughter Abba.

I noticed you added Find-A-Grave memorials for William and Permilia (Kendrick) Hillman even though you don't know where they are buried. So, you must have some interest in, or knowledge about this family, and I wonder if you are related. I believe Permilia's parents were James Kendrick and Phebe Varder, not James Kendrick and Susan. I would love to compare information with you about Permilia. I am also the administrator of the Kendrick DNA Project (both Y-DNA and autosomal), and I have a lot of research on the Kendrick family. Please contact me at my e-mail address by clicking on my profile. I hope to hear from you!

Finally found the people that had land on Middle Rd., Knox (West Township) which my grandmother purchased in early 1920's. There had been an old hotel with a dirt road on the property and a well which was all that was left by the time my father told me about the site in 1960s. He (now 100 yrs old) recalls that the hotel was taken down during his lifetime and of a woman and her daughter that still lived there. He is now 100 so that it might have been taken down in the 1920's. Would you know anything of the family or the hotel or have pictures. I see that you set up their FindaGrave bio. I am from Knox, Middle Rd. by the site. I'm trying to reconstruct life in West Township in the late 1800's as most all my relatives are from locale since colonial times. My name is Paula Shafer and if you'd like to respond, my email is email@example.com Thanks for your help.
I agree with your conclusion. His entry in the 1910 enumeration (living with his daughter) shows he served in the Union Army. I have added the information to his memorial.
