I have been doing genealogy for many years. My goals now are to further document and flesh out the line with interesting and less available details. I am also trying to share as much as I can on the web as this leads to meeting my goals. Please feel free to email me with additions, corrections or questions. Thank you. I often add flowers as a coutesy to other graves in the cemetery where relatives are buried, so if you think we are related, please check out my website on rootsweb which is updated on the 1st of each month. I publish all my info, so if you find a relative, check back monthly for updates. |
P.S. I think this is one of the most helpful sites on the net.
Thank you so much to the people who generously donate their time and money to provide information, photographs, and floral contributions to people who may never be able to thank them. I especially appreciate those who remember this is much bigger than ourselves and consistently maintain their memorials in a professional manner, treating others volunteers in the respectful way in which they like to be treated.
Please use the edit tab on the memorial to make corrections as I have entered a lot of data, and unless you provide the # of the memorial, I have no idea who you are referring to. A message posted here tends to be ignored where an email is dealt with immediately. Thanks.

|Betty ||Wrong date|
Hello, thank you for you hard work in doing this. Please note the date for Phyllis B Umbrell is April 12th not the 17th. I am her daughter in-law.

Mary, Could you possibly transfer management of the memorials for Myron Harry Poag (my Uncle), Mary E. Brown (My grandmother)? Additionally my father along with a few other Poag relatives are listed twice and I would like to have the duplicates deleted but I don't know how. If there is anything I need to do please let me know. Thank you so very much for your time. Fran
Are you related to the Barr-Hamilton-Peebles families?
Can you please take a look at the photo I have posted on the following memorials? Can you verify that the photo is actually of the people listed on the back of the photo?
If you can identify the people in their proper order, it would be greatly appreciated.
Julia Barr Hamilton
Nancy Barr Peebles

Thank you so much for adding the obituary to Ellen G. Seal's bio on Find-A-Grave. I think her mother is buried in Fairview Cemetery, too. I have been unable to find any proof so far. Thanks again.

|Trica Willey Hazelton||Re: Death date for Elder Joseph Call, #28255249|
Elder Joseph Call did not die in 1815 or in Perry Co., OH. He died in early 1825, Perry twp., Geauga Co., now Lake Co., OH. My documentation: a) Joseph Call was present in the 1820 US Census, (1820 US Census of Perry, Geauga Co., Ohio, p. 115); b) He married his nephew Deacon Asa Call to his widowed daughter Tryphena Call Howe, 25 Nov. 1823, Perry, Geauga Co., OH, "Asa Call & Tryphena Howe joined in Matrimony November 25th 1823 by Joseph Call Minister of the Gospel Recorded December 16th 1823 Edward Paine Jnr Clerk, Common Pleas (Ohio County Marriages, 1790-1950, vol. A, p. 241, FHL Film 873461, familysearch.org); c) Amanda Call Pease, great niece of Joseph Call, in her family book, had him dying in 1825; and d) Joseph Call married his second wife Anna Powers Call Nutting, 23 May 1820, Geauga Co., OH, ( Marriage Record of Elder Joseph Call and Mrs. Anna Nutling, both of Perry, Geauga Co., Ohio, 23 May 1820, Geauga Co., OH, Ohio, County Marriages, 1789-1997, database, Marriage Records 1806-1824, Vol. A, p. 135, image 69, FHL Film 873461, familysearch.org). Joseph Call was called Elder because he was a Baptist minister of several decades. Thank you.

Thank you for deleting the duplicates. Here is the info you requested.
"How do I transfer a memorial that I manage to another contributor or to Find A Grave to manage and update?
If you are transferring the memorial to Find A Grave to manage, the contributor ID # is 8. (If you would like to transfer all of the memorials you have added to a particular cemetery to Find A Grave to manage, please send us an email with your contributor ID # and a link to the cemetery involved, and we can transfer your memorials to Find A Grave for you all at once.)"

|Sue||Find A Grave Memorial# 8280453 - Nancy Lightner of Barree, Huntingdon county, Pa|
I've being doing this very large Lightner family for over 20 years now and nowhere can I find a verifiable source for Nancy's maiden name. Where did you find the "Hank Wallick"? I would really appreciate your source as I have been searching for so long and keep hitting 'nothing', except Ancestry trees which have just blithely copied one another and provide no source.
Thanks in advance,
