Bio

Have been a member for over 10 years, choose to use this site over Billion Graves. The memorial pages on Find A Grave were so pleasant and "personal". Now, the pages have nothing but a "database" look and are over shadowed by advertisements flashing in your face.
TWO YEARS LATER:
Glad that the advertisements on these pages have gotten a bit less intrusive, could be better still. Memorial Pages have also gotten a bit better than they were at the first roll out of the "new" Find A Grave.
The insane amount of spam in email from "hackers" has also gotten better, thank you Find A Grave. That alone drove many many people away from using this site. Rarely does that happen now.

Many times when I do Vol. photos I email them to the requesting person so they can post them along with any other info they have. My health has now nearly eliminated me from doing Volunteer photos unfortunately. I so enjoyed walking the cemeteries and helping to preserve and recognize those who have gone before us.
If you don't already volunteer to do photos PLEASE consider doing so.
It's a wonderful way to find peace and serenity in this crazy go-go-go world we live in and a wonderful way to honor the dead.

Unlike others on Find A Grave I'm not concerned about usage of documents, photos, or any info I've posted. It's not about the numbers, credits or prestige. It's about honoring those who went before us, and helping anyone searching for their ancestors, and preserving the images of the tombstones.

Reasearching the following Surnames:

Indiana: Howell Helmick Dexter Stantz Swiger
Lower Payne

Ohio: Howell Helmick Stantz(various spellings)

Illinois: Zimmerman Howell Helmick

Michigan: Stantz Cole Reigle Robbins LeDuc

Tennessee: Hicks Kelley Franks Murray Wylie
Lower Brewer Bryant Cox Payne

Alabama: Ramsey Wylie Murray
