If you write PLEASE indentify yourself with findagrave. We usually DELETE anything from people that we don't know.
We will gladly add or delete anything that you desire. Our memorials are meant to HONOR the person who passed away, and to leave a record of that person's life, so that those who follow can access the information.
We encourage you to use the "virtual cemetery". You do not need to OWN a memorial to use it.
We transfer according to the findagrave guidelines, but please ask. There are exceptions.
THANK YOU to all the good people who work so hard to make this an exciting and usable site.

Thank you for posting the obit & photo of Gene Braun. We were good friends here in Kalamazoo, we worked together at Acme Bedding until I retired in 2002. They don't come any better than Gene, I will miss him dearly.
|Michigan mother||Eleanor Fisch Partee Obit|
Thank you, I have posted it.
|robin||John J. Smith|
I think this John J. Smith is my great, great grandfather, and his grave is here: https://findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=smith&GSfn=john&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSst=6&GScnty=239&GScntry=4&GSob=n&GRid=40303267&df=all&
He was born in 1857 in Canada and later moved to Tuscola, Michigan (and then Nebraska and then California). "The History of Yolo County California" says that has father was John Smith and his mother was Melissa Williams.
Would that agree with your records?

|Tracey ||Henry Empey & Catherine Rombough|
Hello, Henry and Catherine Empey would be my g-g-g-g-grandfather and I have some information in regards to Catherine Rombough. I have her death date as June 16, 1826. Henry and her had 14 children, he then married Cornelia Cook who had 6 kids with her previous marriage. Their son Philip Henry's line is connected to me. I hope this is some information that is useful for you.

I checked both states and got nowhere. I even went to the Cemetery Lookup tab and just typed in Greenlawn. Indiana has a bunch of them, but that makes literally no sense. SMH
But thanks for the input! Have a wonderful weekend.
|Blue Star Mom||May I pick your brains...|
Hey there you guys. I'm chasing my tail on something and was hoping for your input. There's an obituary from Lux & Schnepp with a cemetery I can't figure out. I sent them a message and left a message for someone to verify it, but no response. Any thoughts...???
Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 5 pm at Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City. Interment will be held at a later time in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Where in the world is Greenlawn Cemetery, near Carson City or otherwise?
I just transferred her to you, as she is not related to me. I'm sorry, but the only things I know about her are from the obituary.
Thank you, but I really didn't need a transfer as the people I"m working on a too far distantly related... perhaps one closer will someday contact me.
