Bio and Links
Bio Photo Each time I create a memorial I delight in thinking that it may someday provide valuable information to a genealogist or comfort to a loved one.

Transfers - Please use the "Edit" tab on the memorial, send a "Suggest any other correction" message including your "ID number", I'm more than happy to transfer memorials as per FAG rules which are your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. If your relationship to the deceased is not listed, please consider adding the memorial to one of your virtual cemeteries, and use the edit functions to add additional info to the memorial I created.

If FAMILY MEMBERS wish to have a memorial deleted I will do so, no questions asked.

Some dates/names on the headstones are hard to read. If you can help, please click the Edit tab at the top and input the changes. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated in the completion of "Unknown" and incomplete memorials.

If you add a headstone photo to a memorial that is SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER than mine (FAG rules), please let me know so I can delete mine. FAG is a collaborative effort and each memorial should be a tribute to the memory of the deceased, not the ego of the contributor. Note: FAG advises "close-ups of portions of the headstone are not necessary if the information is clearly visible in the main photo"

Volunteer contributors spend countless hours creating memorials after visiting cemeteries, photographing headstones and obtaining burial information. I am sure everyone would like to know their efforts are appreciated. I know I do.

A big "Thank You" goes out to everyone who sends any info and links for the memorials I've added.

Thank you to:
- Alberta Genealogical Society Lethbridge Branch for:
- Lethbridge, AB grave locations and unmarked grave details.
- Foremost, AB death records.

- everyone that made it possible for the creation of memorials for burials at Mountain View and Garden View Cemeteries in Calgary.

- everyone that made finding and documenting all the cemeteries in Forty Mile County possible. Thank you Kathie, you made the dusty gravel roads we travelled fun!

- Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village Genealogy Club their support plus all the Pincher Creek Newspaper articles & Obituaries

RE: Stalkr Family in Collingwood
I have been researching this family since the early 2000's and as of yet have not been able to establish with any certainty where Donald's parents are buried, if any and who his siblings were. The only true fact I have that is solid, is a hand written birth record that states: "John Stalker, lawful son of Donald Stalker and Margret Stewart born the 24 of November in Wetbeary 1840 about 2 o'clock in the morning. Consent by James Cameron ----". One historical clue is that on the record of his marriage registration, he is listed as residing in Mariposa at the time of marriage to Annabell Rennie. Second historical clue is that on Donald's death registration, Whitbey, Ontario is listed as his birthplace. Third historical clue is in the Census preceding his marriage there is one Donald Stalker residing in Mariposa with his widowed mother, Margaret. When I start digging into the Mariposa area, the Stalker family that shows up uses the name Margaret Gardner as the mother's name.

Braun: Peter & Lydia
I had ordered a headstone picture to be taken for Peter Jacob Braun (1897-1986), Find A Grave #135723500, and his wife, Lydia (Koehn) Braun (1907-1994), #135723497. I was asked for their plot numbers. They are buried in the Garden of Heritage; Plot #122, C1 and C2. Hope that helps.

You have a lovely photo of a Campbell headstone on memorials #129698143 (William P Campbell) and his brother John Campbell (#129698214). It also shows their mother and sisters and I wondered if you would consider adding the photo to their memorials. They are linked :)

RE: Thank you
Thank you for the continued help... my grandpa told me his grandparents Alexander & Marie had a total of 14 children... I think so far I have found 12 with very limited info. So that is a lot of children to find! LOL ;) I live in Edmonton and cannot travel cause of health problems, so am limited to what I can find... so I am very grateful for all your help! :) Thank you again!

Thank you
Thank you so much for the info... I am always looking for new info on my family, it is hard as most have passed away. I did have the info on Alexander George, but not my gr-gr grandma... I was told her name was Marie, so was a little confused at the "Katherine" plus I didn't know here maiden name, now I can do more research and hopefully find more. If you find anything else please let me know... Thank you so much again, very much appreciated!
