All of my photos are copyrighted and cannot be copied or used without my prior permission. They also cannot be copied to any other website i.e. "Ancestry".|
Please, do not submit an edit based upon information that you have viewed from someone's family tree on "Ancestry". Just because it is on "Ancestry", doesn't mean that it is true. I seem to be the only researcher on "Ancestry" who lists my sources on my family trees. Please help me to have accurate memorials by telling me your sources for your edits.
Lastly, a great big thank you to all of you who have accepted my edits and links. It is most appreciated.

I doubt that children would get it so wrong.

You're right of course. Mom was very close to Aunt Tina and she could have been with her or one of the others. Gran was only nine when her mother died and John Calvin remarried, so she was very close to Bertha and John's children.
Shirley and Dick did not have any children and the marriage did not last very long. I don't have the year they divorced.
Thanks for processing the link.
|Jody Logan||RE: proof of marriage for Shirley & Richard|
Shirley was my sister and Dick was my mother's step-cousin. They were married in Clayton, NM on August 24, 1949. Shirley was only 15 at the time. I don't have any "proof" just personal knowledge of both Shirley and Dick from my mother. Shirley was staying with John Calvin Griffin (Mom's grandfather) when they ran off. Dick, as you know, was the son of Rozella Adkins,daughter of Bertha Adkins who was John Calvin's second wife.

I asked for a volunteer to photograph the grave of Victoria Robinson and you might read the photographer's reply on my wall.
