Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became interested in geneology over 17 years ago. I found out if you want to find information on your ancestors, you must spend time in cemetery's. After I took several pictures,I wanted to put them to good use. So one day in my many searches I found, and hopefully I've made it easier for future geneologist's in my family, and on the internet. Names I'm researching are McManimen, Boren, Cope, Tebodo, Ervin, Shine, Magner, Benjamin, Tatro,Dion,Boise,Lawrence and Proue. Cities would be: Chicago,Il; Chicago Heights,Il., McMinnville,Tn.,Harvey, Il., Quebue, Canada, Ste. Marie de Monnoir Rouville, Counties Donegal & Limerick, in Ireland and Iroquois County in Illinois.

RE: Alexander Kennedy
Hey Scott, hope is well...

On Alexander Kennedy, the cemetery allowed me into their handwritten archive books, all burials are documented by day/date. I checked the two weeks following his death and no KENNEDYS at all were buried at Mt Olivet. The computer records for all Chicago & Suburban Catholic cemeteries do not even have an Alexander, Alex or Al Kennedy for that period of time.

I have a funny feeling he is buried at Chicago's Mt Olive Cemetery on the City's north side.

I get tons of request for Mt Olivet that turn our to be Mt Olive burials.

Thanks Bill

Hi Scott,

According to the data found at, the spelling of the last name varies.

I am uncertain to which variant occurs first.

We have several surnames in our family which are like this. I have taken to keeping a list of spelling variants which I keep in mind when I am looking through when searching for data.

RE: Shine Family
No I'm not related to the Shine Family. Mary Shines' sister, Honora raised my aunt for a few years..that's my only connection to the family.

Yes according to Virginia's obit Jean was still alive in 2014..found nothing else on Jean..

According to the Gunn Historical Museum, its full name is Washington Green Cemetery. I will add his wife and daughter, plus his son-in-law who inherited the company.
