RE: Mary Hermin Hanak Bartos
Howdy - I'm a little late in replying. 1) Filip Hanak and Veronika Stepanova both died in Moravia. Their daughters Maria and Anna married brothers Josef and Roman Bartos - their brother Valentin is my ggrandfather. 2) Frantisek Genser did not immigrate to the U.S. We assume he died in Moravia. His wife Angela, sister to Josef, Roman and Valentin, immigrated to Fayette County -Feb 1900 to join her son Frantisek she died soon after in Dec 1900 and is buried in the Fayetteville Catholic Cemetery. 3)I do not know where Elizabeth and Charles Kretzschmar live. I made contact with her because she's from the Recek family. My gggrandmother Apolina (Mikulas Bartos' wife) was a Recek, but we could not establish a link to our individual Recek lines. Mary Hermin Hanak Bartos
Find A Grave #67536045

Angelina, first of all you related to Elizabeth and Charles Kretzschmar. I've exchanged e-mails with Elizabeth regarding the Genzer family. Mikulas and Apolina Bartos' daughter Andela married Frantisek Genzer.

I am a descendant of Mikulas and Apolina Recek Bartos. Their son Valentin is my great grandfather Find A Grave #23893198.

The parents of Mary are Filip Hanak and Veronica Stepanova. Mary's sister is Anna, married to Roman Bartos - Valentin's brother.

I thought you might want to add the names of Mary and Anna's parents to their respective Find A Grave pages.

RE: GENZER GRAVES IN OREGON
Could not find any other Genzers in our county, other than those I listed. There is a duplicate for Maud and Frank at another cemetery, but they are not there. See: https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gsr&GSln=Genzer&GSiman=1&GSst=39&
for all Genzers on our county FindAGrave (including the duplicates0

RE: GENZER GRAVES IN OREGON
I took photos of 2 others next to them in that plot: Maud and Frank. See them on Findagrave at the same cemetery. I'll look around the county for more Genzer surnames and get back to you!

Genzers in Oregon
thanks for your message. Yes, there were 2 other Genzers on the other side of the marker; Maud and Frank. You can see the photos of their graves that I took and posted. Those were the only additional Genzers in the cemetery book. I will check with other local cemeteries for you as well.

Thank you so much for all the effort you've put into the Ammannsville Tx. church cemetery! It was of great importance to my father and I especially enjoy the older section closer to the roadway. I would certainly purchase one of your books regarding this cemetery so if you do the reprint please let me know!

Whats funny is that I had my husband look at this website too and even he couldn't figure out how to rotate the photos. We'll wait to hear back from your end, and thanks again for all of your hard work regarding cemeteries and their historical footprint in this area.

Hi! We were able to restore the monument for our ancestor buried in the St. John the Baptist Church catholic cemetery in Ammannsville, Tx. I am now sponsoring the page for this great great grandparent and I have added photos of the restored headstone. But on the page, the photos are horizontal, and not vertical like yours!

Is there a way to have the thumbnails show in the correct position when you arrive at the page for this relative? When you click on each photo it does appear in the correct viewing position but all of the thumbnails are rotated 90 degrees.

Your photos were excellent! They spurred me on to get the headstone fixed, since viewing it recorded as broken made my heart ache.......
