Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started researcing my family history in 2007 thanks to my cousin Kimberly Curtis Campbell who had researched or family tree back to the 1600's. I wanted to help her by picking up the parts of the family that now live in MD.

As a way of helping everytime I go to the cemetery's I take my camera, people think that I am crazy and I just might be. My husband and I enjoy walking through the older cemeteries reading the stones and taking just the right picture. Thank heaven for digital cameras since I always take more then 1 picture of each stone to make sure I have the picture just right.

So now I want to help others. I am going to start adding names from my local newspaper. I know how time consuming this process can be. Since I do not know most of the people that I will be adding I will be more then happy to transferr ownership of any memorials that are NOT related to me to a family member.

I hope you enjoy learning about your family history as much as I have enjoyed learning about mine.

Please let me know if I have made any mistakes on any of the memorials that I have entered.

Internment list does show sister of Hanson
The internment list DOES show Hanson's sister, and her grave, before it was toppled by vandals. Such a shame. I am heartbroken over the horrible shape of so many of these stones. This was once a beautiful cemetery. As a genealogist, and someone who has lot people, I cannot imagine how people think it is ok to do this type of stuff when it comes to desecrating cemeteries.

Wrong stone listed
Hello there :)

I wanted to let you know that you have the wrong stone showing for Margaret Hollan Nicodemus, in Cassell Cemetery. There is a request for a photo for her, so I went out there today to see if I could find it. (Sadly the cemetery has been terribly vandalized!!) (I seriously cried when I saw it!)

The stone you have showing is her infant son's stone. I will post the picture that I got today, so that you can compare. There is another Margaret Nicodemus in the cemetery, the her dates do not line up at all...much older lady. I am not sure wherethe internment records might be, but there is an internment list for Cassell cemetery here on Find a grave, and it only shows one Margaret Cassell, and the grave I got today is not listed, yet it is in much better shape, and should have been listed. Not sure what to think of this mystery.

I located her stone today. I have created a memorial in Mount Saint Benedict. I have not come across William yet, they were not buried together.

John P
David Geiman Cemetery
I believe that the people you have added to the "defunct" Geiman Family Cemetery are actually at the David Geiman Cemetery, 501 Old Backmans Valley Road, visible on google satelite. Its across from the Myers Apple Orchard. I can email you the info from the Carroll County Genealogical Society.
