..........................................

I am a professional photographer and genealogist (over 50 years), and long time historian of Coleman County, Texas (over 40 years). Over 20 years ago, I, along with my wife, Judia, and Vena Bob Gates, published all of the marked grave inscriptions in Coleman County, Texas in the 3 volume, "Coleman County Cemetery Inscriptions." I also have these records online at www.colemanhistory.com.

Judia and I both continue to visit cemeteries, but I do all the computer work. Judia is an artist and does not relate to computers ... she is soooo lucky!

I have welcomed Find-A-Grave to help carry on what myself, my wife and others are doing to keep local history information available and not forgotten. I began in the middle of March 2011 adding burials that have not been added for Coleman County.

I look forward to hearing from anyone interested in the cemeteries and history of Coleman County. Ralph Terry, Coleman, Texas.

Temperance A. Autry
Ralph,

Thanks for trying to find Temperance Angelina Autry's burial location. Times were tough back in those days and they probably didn't have enough money for a marker.

There were 2 listings for Allyn's wife, Bessie Lou. The other Find A Grave member deleted his as mine has her links with her family. Bessie Lou was my aunt's sister and I would appreciate if you would link her to Allen. Thank you.

RE: Mable Fletcher obituary
Uncle Charles was the last of the Kizer kids to pass away. He remained a devoted and constant companion to his wife. Charlie Mae. We miss them both very much! Uncle Freddie passed away in 2009 in Midland. Thank you for being their friend!

It's posted. You have to click on it twice to open the full view to read it. It's really weather worn and the marker settled to the left.

RE: Ralph England
On my way to post Ralph's headstone - really hard one as it's a bronze marker.
