I really enjoy taking cemetery pictures and looking for my ancestors' graves. It also is fun finding other people's relatives and helping them in their search. I find this a great way to relax as cemeteries tend to be peaceful and quiet!!|
I'm happy to transfer ownership of any entries to family members - just ask!!
If you would like to use my pictures for your personal research please do, as I take them for people who are searching for family information but can't get to where the graves are. Please give me credit if you post them to Ancestry or other sites.
If you want to publish the pictures, please contact me.

I descend from Silas Newcomb, and wondering how you also might descend from him.
Thank you for all your work on findagrave.com
|Michael Proctor||Jane A Whitcomb|
I was able to read Jane's grave and it does confirm her parents, so I submitted the correction.
|FrancisMattesonLine||RE: Corrections for Harris' in Richmond|
I'm sorry but you did not specify memorial numbers so I have no idea which Harris' these refer to, as I sent quite a lot of edits based on the recovery research we are doing in RI. :-)
If you received an email from me, it means I have sent you edits to vital information and/or family links on your edit tab.
The email is simply the backup proof to satisfy the memorial owner that the edit tab requests have been fully researched.
Said email generates automatically when you choose the "suggestions and other corrections" tab to send your backup proofs.
I'm sorry if my bio did not explain the process I use. Perhaps this additional explanation will make it clearer?
Thanks so much for being a great Find-A-Grave partner!
|ScottishPiper||RE: we share a common ancestor|
hi! appears your family surname from Cushman to you just " Zig- Zags". Well, it happens to the best of us. Can't be a direct descendant to everyone in our family tree.
- has not been a very good day today as my mother in-law is once again in the hospital and spent my morning , part afternoon, and soon this evening there. But we all try to be supportive for one another. I've became the chauffeur/ taxi / designated family member to drive since my father in-law is unable back in October. Seems like they have never ending doctor appointments plus my father in-law has physical therapy twice a week.
= I'd like to chat some more when things settle down and not making hospital visits hopefully in the next couple days. -
I am very glad to receive word from you - another cousin found and seeking many more. Genealogy is a history lesson ... discovering your past and providing hope for tomorrow. Our ancestors role in life no matter how little or how much they contributed as without them .. we would not be here.
Thank you Lynn, I wish you a Happy New Year too. We all need a bit of inspiration and hope, also to keep faith that all we do in our lives has made a difference.
Remember the greatest gift of all is the gift of LOVE.

|Anne Summers||RE: question about question|
Thank you anyway for responding so quickly. I finally figured out on my own what the answer was...although I still haven't figured out why I'm not allowed to sign in to the Community Forum!
|Anne Summers||question about question|
Hi. I am writing to you about this because I don't know who else to ask. Findagrave will not let me into the community forums because it says I am not a member under either my name or my email address, even though I am already signed in under my name... My question is this: on one of my memorial pages (Minnie Howard Dyer # 127603891), at the bottom of the photos, it says "Don't show cemetery photos on this memorial." You have added a question under that asking if that's what I really want. My answer is no, that's not what I really want, but I don't know how to change it because I don't know how it got that way to begin with. Since Findagrave won't let me in, even though I'm already in, I don't know how else to get information on this.... and I didn't see this question under the FAQs anywhere. Can you tell me? I know it's not your responsibility, but I really would appreciate it! Thank you so much, and also thanks for everything you have done for Findagrave!

I would like to honour your request for a photo of George Langdon's grave marker if you could contact the cemetery office for the grave location. I am no longer able to get info of people that are not related to me.
The office has records of both Windsor Memorial Gardens & Windsor Grove Cemetery. They can be reached at 519-969-4146 or "email@example.com"
