BUMPER STICKER OF THE YEAR:|
"IF YOU CAN READ THIS, THANK A TEACHER...AND, SINCE IT'S IN ENGLISH, THANK A SOLIDER."
TO THOSE WHO SLEEP IN UNMARKED GRAVES:
We have searched diligently for your identity but too many times in vain. You have a right to a stone with your name and dates marking the six feet of earth where you sleep. Many of you once had stones, but time has taken its toll. Your descendants live in faraway places or are no more. The land has changed ownership many times. The fences are gone and livestock wander your graves. Grasping hands always wanting a few more feet of land, and now your gravesite is lost forever to a subdivision. We know you were placed there by loving hands and broken hearts many years ago. We know that you were happy; you were sad; you laughed; you cried; and that you loved. We gaze in admiration when we find the tall cedar trees, the yellow buttercups, the blue periwinkle and the white bridal wreath blooming each spring for you, and in loyalty to the one who planted them there on your grave.

Sorry, but could you restate your message. I did not quite understand what you meant to say.
|Clinton G.||James Willoughby Davis|
I wondered if you were by chance related to James Willoughby Davis. His father Algernan Sidney Davis 1877-1951 was a younger brother to my GG-grandfather William James Davis 1874-1963. Thank you!
You are very welcome.

|Cecil Akers||Charley Akers|
The grave beside Florence is her husband. He died in 1934, Florence was the head of household in the 1940 census. I have not been able to find anything about this Charley Akers
|Tina Hester||RE: Akers|
You are very welcome. I like doing this. I do have a question. There is a headstone next to Florence Akers that says Charlie 1893 - 1934. Do you have any idea who that is? It is a small stone like hers that only says a first name and date.
|Mary Beth Francis||RE: Elizabeth England|
No my Aunt Sissy is still alive. I spoke to her a few weeks ago. Are you part of my family tree?
|J. L. Cobb||RE: request|
I am willing to transfer all memorials in this cemetery to you, if you live in the area and want to manage them. If you want to when you spot any memorials that I manage in that cemetery just send a request.
