It has been a joy to work on Find-A-Grave during the last 8 years. I have tried to mainly enter memorials that I have photographed, because I feel that photo's don't lie. In our area there have been quite a few entries to Find-A-Grave using old handwritten surveys. I appericate the effort that was taken to get these surveys & the effort to enter them on Find-A-Grave, but the people that entered them made many mistakes and have caused families, looking for their loved ones, to not be able to find them. I hope that my photographs have cleared up some of the mess. If you need corrections please use the edit on the memorial. I will transfer, to releatives within the guidelines of Find-A-Grave. I do not link to unknown burials (please read Find A Graves rules for unknown burials) Location of body unknown is used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition must be determined and updated within 30 days. |
My main family work is Meador, DeCocq, Sellers, Sanders, Graham, Turner, Lee, Johnson, Devin, & Stephens
God Bless Everyone that has helped me!!!
For some that don't get the hint. I am a Meador, My mother is a Sellers, My Grandmothers were Sanders & Graham. My G-Grandmothers were Lee, Turner, Stephens & Lucas. My wife is a DeCocq & her grandmothers are Bucklin, Johnson & Hastings
PLEASE DO NOT USE MY PHOTOGRAPHS on any site that you have to pay to get into the site. I took the photographs for the entire world to use for free!
I spent my time photographing, editing & entering them for their family so they might see what they look like now. I did not take them for someone that does not care about them one bit except to make a profit! Richard Glenn Meador

Thank you for all your work and Volunteer time
at Fort Smith National Cemetery. Many, many of
our Veterans now have a memorial that you took
time to post even many spouses some years after
your original memorial, now are remembered with
up to date postings. they are now joined with
photos of both as it should be in Find A Grave. I would
like to ask if you will transfer my folks over
at oak as I have cleaned their stone up to be
able to read them better. Thanks again for all
the Volunteer work you do for Find A Grave--joseph

Is there any chance of getting photos of the Meadors buried at the Enfield Cemetry? Joel Joseph III and Lucinda Latimer Meador were my 3rd great grandparents.

Thanks for sending the link to Haystack for
|Ray Schomas||Joshua Sellers|
I was looking for my great-great-great grandfather Joshua Sellers and saw the find-a-grave record that you created in 2009. My connection to him is thru David Sellers. I wanted know how you found the other information you included for Joshua's parents and his children. Did you examine the church records or use other means? I am trying to find good, source records to support all these findings. Thanks for your help.
|Jane J. Hinkle||Gardenhire/Adams|
I had an unsettling feeling about the Gardenhire photos yesterday. I went back today and turns out there are 2 Gardenhire/Adams plots. E M Gardenhire's broken flat marker is still there in the other family plot that I did not discover until today. I will correct my mistakes later this afternoon.

|Robert Finch||RE: Your Davis family memorial requests|
Thank you for answering my requests and I completely understand your position. I'll make edit requests at a later time when the data is ready. I'm thrilled to have found yet another Davis relation and hope to share information with you and others in your family. Although my wife Jan is the distant cousin / niece of these Davis folks, I do most of the research work for our families. Your knowledge and efforts have helped greatly in this process. I'll do what I can to provide the most accurate information I can find while continuing to research the greater family. Please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org so that I can share material that I've gathered over the years that you and others might be interested in. Thanks again. - Rob and Jan (Davis) Finch

|Dennis Painter||Katherine Alexander Brady/Forest Park Cemetery/Ft. Smith|
Can you place this person in the famous category as she was a famous Actress in Hollywood and is a Ft. Smith native ? She is listed as such by the Ft. Smith Historical Society and her stage name was Katherine Alexander and was married to William A. Brady, Jr. who passed away in 1935. She resided in Ft. Smith for the last 30 years of her life. She may be related to me through my Alexander and Cherokee lineage.
Thanks much for your good work and you should be able to pull up her photo from the internet movie base and wikipedia.
Please let me know if you can do this.
