Would you happen to remember the exact location of Michael Gdovec's grave? I know it was over three years ago. Hope to hear from you soon! Sandra
|Sandra Panzitta||THANK YOU!|
I have been searching for years for the final resting place of my g-ggrandfather Michael (Mihaly) Gdovec. His church burial record cryptically stated he was buried in "Slavicum" cemetery. His burial permit shows this cemetery was located in Plains. Sacred Heart Slovak Cemetery did not open until 1899. I assume his body was re-interred into Sacred Heart. I have walked Sacred Heart multiple times and cannot believe I missed Michael! You have made my day and ended years of searching.
With the deepest gratitude for your selfless volunteerism,
|Donna Randall||Julia Cummiskey|
Thank you for posting the picture for Julia. Her obituary had the last name spelled as Cummiskey but I will correct it to what is on the headstone.
Her husband Patrick and sons Charles and Edward are on findagrave under the spelling of Comiskey.
|Donna Randall||John P. Shannon|
Thank you for adding the picture for John Shannon. I appreciate it.

Joan of VA
Hi Joan - I'm glad I was able to take this photo for you and I hope you like it. I think you'll agree that the lighting was just about right.
