Hi I am related to the Rutledges through Susannah Rutledge(1775-1814) who married a Thomas Edward Mayes (d. 1815) both died in GA leaving 4 orphans one of which named Malinda Mayes (my 4th great g'ma)who married Morgan Wallace (my mother's maiden name) It is believed that William Rutledge possibly took care of these orphans delivery them to family in White Co. IL around 1815. Just wondering if you might have any information on this.
