I have been researching my family history since 1987, over twenty years now. I am an avid reseacher and documentation is my pride. |
I have a large collection of funeral memorbilia and do Victorian mourning talks. I had my display at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, MI for many years.
I have taken photos of all the burials in Dry Branch, Eastview, Shiloh and Howe Cemeteries in Benton Co, TN and added them to FAG. I have also taken many photo at Dalton Cemetery for family.
Enjoy visiting cemeteries and finding memorial symbols while taking photos for my family history volumes.
I take pride in joining this wonderful group of contributers on Find a Grave. Most of memorials have added information. I am not about numbers but want to assist others in finding more information about their family members.
I want to thank Rick Lambert for all the work he has done in Benton Co, TN cemeteries with memorials entered and photographs taken. I also want to thank him for all the tranfers he as given me. I will take good care of them all.

Glad to do it, You should see it. It is impressive for the size of the imposing stones. I was told by the landowner that it used to be even more so, and that it was vandalized . Its a shame , since the stones are like works of art .

Hi Sharon, I sent you a message through your email so that I could forward a copy of the TVA relocations. I apologize for getting confused about whether or not his remains had been moved. Thanks, Rose

I am taking photos in the Olivet Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN and I found your Cleophas and Frances Matilda Moross there. I saw that you have her linked to a cemetery in MI, so I made her page in the Olivet cemetery and will me more than happy to transfer management to you!!
Hi, I've noticed an error on the memorial for Green Berry Payne #35324182. I've tried the edit tab several times to request a correction but the little I'm Not a Robot symbol just keeps spinning and spinning and doesn't show me the pics to choose from, so thought I'd try this way.
Green Berry and Abigale were actually married on December 17 1855, not the June date that is showing on the memorial. The June date is the date the Recording to the State was done. I have an enlarged detail of the handwritten record which clearly shows the correct date, they were married by Wm. E Mull Minister of the Gospel.
Could you please make that correction to his memorial? Should you require a copy of the document (as some people do) to make the correction please let me know and I'll send it along.
Thank You For All You Do on Find A Grave !!

Hello Sharon, I am wondering how people know about the unmarked graves in this cemetery? Mark R Cole is my 3XG grandfather on my mother's side.
Hope BC Canada
Then the cenotaph should be marked as such and I don't see anything on the memorial that tells me one is a cenotaph. If you are referring to the links, outside links are not allowed and I did not read them.
The biography is to be about the person for which the memorial is made with preference to an original biography. If a cause of death is added, it is to be short and to the point, and as shown on the death certificate. The bio must not look like a case file.
Graphic bios are not acceptable.
Links to other websites or email addresses are not allowed within any memorial.

|Carol Workman||George McDaniel|
Hi, Sharon - I am a descendant of George McDaniel, born 1777, buried at Stockdale Cemetery, Benton Co., TN. There is also a George McDaniel listed at Lick Creek Cemetery, Benton Co, TN with the same birth and death dates on Find A Grave. In the gravestone photo at Lick Creek for George, it says "Infant" on the stone, so I think the 1777 George is actually at Stockdale Cemetery. I am wondering if you know if the infant George at Lick Creek Cemetery might be a son of James Matthew McDaniel, a son of 1777 George, making infant George a grandson of 1777 George. I visited both cemeteries today but the Lick Creek Cemetery was so overgrown, I didn't attempt to enter it. Will wait until tick/snake season is over and try again! Thanks for any information you can provide!
