Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello, I live in South Texas - two hours from the Mexican border. Growing in this part of the country with it's rich mexican heritage, I noticed many cultural traditions and adages. I developed a desire to know the whos, whys, and whens of my family's roots. It's been said, "you can't know where you are going unless you know where you come from". Genealogy allows you to really understand your family history. Find-a-Grave propelled that longtime desire to study my ancestry. I've met new relatives and re-acquainted with long lost relatives. As I conduct interviews, I am very intrigue by stories of my past ancestors. There is a rich history behind us.

One of my favorite poems is "The Dash". That small dash between the birth and death dates signifies all the time that was spent alive on earth. Death is not the end - memories live on. They are the footsteps of your life.

Transfer Request
Dear Sandra,

Would you please transfer the management of my husband's great grandmother's site #105236731 for Mary Ellen Young Hales to me so I might connect the rest of the family sites together.

Mary Ellen Young Hales' daughter, Audrey Ophelia Hales Faver is my grandmother and I currently manage her site #155758918 where she is buried in Orland, California. I would like to connect them.

Thank you,

Patricia Jean Riordan-Faver

Holy Cross Cemetery
Do you know of any index of graves at this cemetery? I see a complete list but it doesn't give me any idea of where a grave might be. I will be visiting the cemetery in Corpus Christi very soon and would appreciate anything you can tell me about location. The grave in question is that of William B. Falvella.

Thank you so much for your help!!
