My added vs. managed memorials difference is quite large because I manage many memorials transferred to me from an inactive member. I work daily on those to add and correct information but there are many yet to do.|
I do not link to "unknown" burial memorials as disposition should be known before adding a memorial and Find A Grave states that if they are, the burial location should be added within 30 days.

I was looking through my old emails and found that you had taken a photo of Robert Butler's head stone. I am truly sorry if I neglected to thank you. I do appreciate the time and thoughtfulness you took to do this. Thanks again, Nancy Killpack
Thank you for that good explanation. Good picture too. Looks like a well cared for memorial park.

Sending edits to link her with her parents. It has bothered me forever that the wrong Mary H Walton is linked to the parents. Can't do anything about that, but can get the right one added.
Tons of articles about Mary Helen Walton and Charles Philip Smith, including their marriage in the Alton Illinois newspaper.
Did not do an edit for the middle name of Charles because I do not know whether it is written with a single or double "l".

Yippee Skippie! I know better than to count on a SSDI record for city of death! Thanks for finding and adding her obituary. I appreciate it so much, and it will help get my family tree more accurate, as it will for others following this line. Great appreciation!

Thank you for your message. I contacted the person you suggested and she wrote me back. The location is Block 41A Lot 75. I posted an image of the map and marked location on the memorial that she sent me. Thanks for your help!

Thank you for your reply. I sent that message without reading carefully! I will keep looking. :)
This is confusing now that the remains were found for Michael Aiello. I do see that stone in Calvary but he's going to be buried at Camp Butler. He already has 2 memorials: 33950840 and 74399432.

I ran across this article today that shows photographs of Union Soldiers. The above mentioned soldier is mentioned with a photograph of him sitting in a chair with his prosthetic legs next to him. The photographs are labeled, "Public Domain." The link is http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4962852/The-men-left-disfigured-fighting-United-States.html#i-9d568cca403ef1dc

I would LOVE to have their obituaries. Mildred, my paternal grandmother, died a year before I was born and my grandfather was mostly unknown to me as well. If you're able to add them, I would greatly appreciate it! (if you can't, please send and I will)
Thank you so much!
