Click on the Family Tree to make it bigger. I enjoy this site and see it gaining in popularity. If your related to any of these people check out the family groups in the virtaul cemeteries and it may help you in your genealogy or just fill in some loose ends. __________________________________________________ Family history is very important to me and I try as hard as I can to make sure it is right. I spent years fixing my family on Ancestry because people just record things they know nothing about and someday I hope Ancestry will fix this. I have many, many hours in research and have made thousands of links on Find A Grave. I love what I do and never made a dime doing it. I love family.|

Noticed that you sent an edit for Calvin, was wondering if you were related to him or not. If so I would transfer his memorial to you. I am not related and I believe family should be with family. Just let me know.
|Elaine Vanderwal||THANK YOU|
Dan, Thank you for transferring to me the memorials of my mother, Revah Galloway Watt and her parents David James Lloyd Galloway and Lue Mabel Giles Galloway.
If you wish to transfer more of this family to me, that would be appreciated. Mabel's mother Louesa Jane Collver etc. and Mabel's siblings, Seymour Royden Stanton 'Roy' Giles and Violet Kate Giles Simington. Keep up the good work. Appreciate your careful work and research!! Elaine
|Pauli Smith||Michael Aleshire Sr.|
I noticed on Find A Grave Memorial# 142756527,that you are a relative
My grandmother, Ida May Ailshire Polly's grandfather was Michael Elshire/Ailshire. .b. 1813 in Shenandoah, Virginia, USA, d. abt. 1895 in Meigs County, Ohio. Grandma told me that she remembered going to his funeral when she was 11. She also told me that her great grandfather, Michael’s father, was also named Michael.
The entry in Find a Grave says that Michael Aleshire, Sr. was born in Shenandoah County, Virginia and died in Meigs County, Ohio. Since they say he is a Sr. I’m wondering that since you are related, that you might know something about a son named Michael. My Michael Elshire/Aleshire/Ailshire married Nancy Dodge in Greenville, Floyd, Indiana on 7 Nov 1836.
We have been trying to find our Michael's father for over 30 years. Would you have any information on this family?
Thank you so much!
Pauli Driver Smith
Hi Dan from Elaine Watt Vanderwal-
There is a cemetery named 3 different names on Find a Grave.
These 3 cemeteries are all the same one:
1) Springvale Cemetery,
Address Springvale Haldimand Co Ont
(9 people add),
Address 2454-2636 Springvale Road Hagersville, Haldimand,
(38 people added)
3) Springvale Greenwood Cemetery,
Address Springvale, 2512 County road 55, Springvale, Haldimand, Ont Conc 14 Lot 7
(768 people added)
Note: Greenwood Cemetery, and Springvale Greenwood Cemeteries even have the same photo for the same sign “Springvale Greenwood Cemetery”.
Yours and my specific duplications:
#3 Cemetery (see cemetery name above):
Mary Ann Giles Kenner #148499603
& John Kenner 148499318
Sarah Giles Winkworth #161945921
her husband George Henry Winkworth #161946069
#1 Cemetery (see cemetery name above). Your submissions for same
Mary Ann Giles Kenner #105220937
and her husband John Kenner #105222117
Also Sarah Giles # 105215862
and her husband George Henry Winkworth #105217164
We should try to get everyone into #3 cemetery since there are 768 memorials there already.
We need to get the 3 cemeteries merged into one. I have requested this before but nothing ever has been done about it by Find A Grave folks and maybe I didn't contact the right contact.
Can you possibly remove your 4 memorials from #1 Cemetery? That would leave only 5 memorials in that cemetery.
(Not sure if I should ask the last submitters to move their memorials too so we at least can try to get 1 of these duplicated cemeteries removed. One person has made a lot of relationship links so might not be that easy to delete and move memorials to #3 cemetery). Someone else just added another memorial July 2016 to #1 cemetery so the error/confusion will keep going on unless we get these merged. It would be best to have everyone in these 3 cemeteries moved/merged to #3 Cemetery.
If you know of someone else to contact at Find A Grave who could merge these cemeteries please, please do so. Thanks a million, Elaine
PS (I think I'll send an email to one of the emails under ' Help with Find a Grave' and see if they can fix the duplicate cemeteries somehow!)

Hi Dan, With your help, we found a Revolutionary War patriot for my friend. Thanks for correcting record. Can you read on death certificate who her employer was? I was surprised she was a machine operator.

Dan, Thank you so much for your help. My friend did not know anything to speak of of her Dad's family, so you have opened a lot of doors for us in researching her family. Waltar Dillard Davis is my friend's father....the son of Walter Quincy and Ruby. Judy

Dan, I see that you are maintaining the above record. I have just started to help a friend research her Davis Family and I believe that this Ruby Davis was married to Walter Quincy Davis. Do you believe this is true? So, here is the question you have listed that she had six children. I am wondering where this info came from? I also do not see my friend's father Walter Dillard Davis listed as one of her children. Do you believe she was a widow at the time she had these 6 children with the last name Davis, whose father could not have been Walter Quincy Davis? If so, this would mean my friend has a whole new line of potential distant relatives.
