Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started researching my husband's family several years ago when we "inherited" all the photos, newspaper clippings, wedding invitations, etc. that his grandmother had kept. I didn't want to throw it all out because it was a lifetime of memories and keepsakes so I began to organize it on a genealogy database. Then I was "hooked"!

I accidently stumbled onto my cousin's posting on a message board while I was searching for information on MY family and this thing just took on a life of it's own.

I volunteered to take photos for Find-a-Grave after I requested and received some for my postings. It was so exciting to see the stones that I thought it would be nice to reciprocate. I also think I have a "sixth sense" or the deceased just "call to me" because since I started taking photos, I've been to cemeteries that I've never been to and I just seem to be able to walk right up to the grave! I've done it almost every time!

If I have posted something incorrectly or if I have posted something you feel is inappropriate, please email me or leave a message and I will correct it.

I am not related to any of the postings for Mifflin County, PA so I will gladly transfer memorials to a family member, no matter how distant. PLEASE USE THE EDIT TAB AT THE MEMORIAL TO MAKE THE TRANSFER REQUEST. It's much easier that way and all the necessary information is there.

Any photos I post here are free to be used by anyone. If you do not want me to use your photos, please do not claim my requests.

The changes you suggested have been made. I extracted data from the death record rather than pasting it into the bio field. Okay? Paul

Add to Clair Charles Harbst
Hi! I've just begun trying to find out more about my family history. My paternal grandfather is Clair Charles Harbst - Memorial #158235320.

I have info on his siblings that I would like to have listed on his page. Am I able to do this or would you need to do it? I found one of his siblings on this site so thought they should be linked somehow.

I also found his parents on here and their pages only show 2 children of the 5 I know about. I'd like to get them added to their pages too.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Thank you for the kind words. We used to live in Houston so had friends and family who survived Hurricane Harvey. We now live in Florida so were also affected by Hurricane Irma. We were lucky. We had damage but nothing that isn't fixable.

Hello,
I am Williams niece and he wasn't laid to rest where you say he was, both my uncle and grandmother (Elaine Ann Birckbichler) were cremated, my grandfather had their ashes and he gave my father their ashes back in 2010, my father had the ashes till 2015 my great grandmother (Glenna A Barger ) passed away her dying wish was to have her daughter and grandson be laid to rest with her. They are laid to rest at Dutch Hill Cemetery.
