RE: Belvue Cemetery, Belvue, KS
I don't find a Fred F. Franklin Huston at all. Could this be one who wasn't printed on original info I had? I think I got all rest corrected. My info may and probaly wasn't up to date--info after certain date probaly wasn't there...that why I like have my own cemetary record books, they are closer to updates. Thanks--I won't bug ya anymore--you did great job those pictures. Marie

RE: Belvue Cemetery, Belvue, KS
I got my info on these from web, there are alot of errors, I appreciate you telling me this, i will set it that way, I did know the Houstons and that way they spelled it, but to help people find it better, we should probaly use what is on the gravestone. I have new Geneology book of Jackson and one of Wabaunsee Co, I would like find good one of Pottawatomie Co. Some have listings and the name is not buried there, in fact some cemetaries have gravestones and the person not buried there, I ran into that in Jackson Co, twice, but i guess they have go by what they have...there no solid info really, so it seems, these books came from Geneology societys and up to date. I also have records of some of Riley Co Cemetaries and even that has been questionable to some. Glad you told me this, I will change them this evening. Marie

Huston photos
Thank you so much for these beautiful pictures of the Huston family. The Huston's were orignally from Canada and are my gr-gr-grandmothers family. The "Huston" marker is really beautiful. Thank you again for helping me out, it is so appreciated. Donna Heuer/Eureka, California

Viola Myers gravestone photo
Thank you for taking the photo, I was just back in the area the end of april for my sister Paulina McClelland Arnold's funeral in Maple Hill. I took several photos at the Keene Cemetery, but missed this one. She was my Uncle Cliff Romig's mother-in-law.

Thanks again, Dave McClelland

P.S. if you are interested, here is link to my family tree maker web site:

Adna Chilson
Bonnie - You have solved the mystery!!!
There are many transcriptions of this headstone on the internet stating that "Ada Chilson" is buried here. Your photo proves that "Adna Chilson" is the correct name, and with Nancy B. Chilson on the same headstone, she is certainly Adna's wife. These are my 4-great grandparents, and they have proved very elusive in my 10-year search for them. Your time and effort are deeply appreciated!
