Tansfers: If I've created a memorial for your family member or for someone that is near and dear to your heart, I'm happy to transfer to you as long as they are not my relative. Just ask :)

I promise I'm not a memorial "hoarder". I have taken hundreds of marker photos in the hopes that relatives and friends will be able to find their loved ones. I am always happy to transfer when asked. That's the whole reason I love making connections.

As I am researching my family's genealogy I have come to appreciate how helpful photos are. Unfortunately many of our old family photos did not have information on them. I couldn't agree more with the following:

Strangers in the Box

Come, look with me inside this drawer,
In this box I've often seen,
At the pictures, black and white,
Faces proud, still and serene.

I wish I knew the people,
These strangers in the box,
Their names and all their memories,
Are lost among my socks.

I wonder what their lives were like,
How did they spend their days?
What about their special times?
I'll never know their ways.

If only someone had taken time,
To tell, who, what, where and when,
These faces of my heritage,
Would come to life again.

Could this become the fate,
Of the pictures we take today?
The faces and the memories,
Someday to be passed away?

Take time to save your stories,
Seize the opportunity when it knocks,
Or someday you and yours,
Could be strangers in the box.

Not Now, But In The Coming Years~
It May Be In The Better Land~
We'll Read The Meaning Of Our Tears,
And There, Some Time, We'll Understand.
We'll Know Why Clouds Instead of Sun
Were Over Many A Cherished Plan;
Why Song Has Ceased When Scarce Begun;
Tis There Some Time, We'll Understand.
