Tacoma News Tribune 17 July 1958
Charles Cecil Leeds 65, who was found stabbed to death in his room at 5015 1/2 - So. 11th Street last Sunday, was born in Beardstown, Il and lived in Tacoma for 20 years. He was a retired employee of the Tacoma Sash and Door Co, a member of the Moose Lodge and the Moose Legion.

Surviving are a son Cecil L. Leeds of Hillsdale, Il and a daughter, Mrs. Carl McSparin of Moline, Il; a sister Mrs. Essie Broderson of Davenport, Iowa; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Services will be conducted by the Moose Lodge at 2 pm today. The body will be sent Friday to the Daley Mortuary in Port Byron, Il for services and burial
