Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love Genealogy. I know some of my friends think I am weird, since I enjoy visiting cemeteries. Those buried in cemeteries walked and lived as we do today. They must not be forgotten.
My husband, Billy, is my biggest helper. He is a great photographer.

"Remember me in the family tree
My name, my day, my strife;
Then I'll ride upon the wings of time
And live an endless life."

Dear Ancestor
"Your tombstone stands among the rest neglected and alone. The name and date are chiseled out on polished stone. It reaches out to all who care. It is to late to mourn.
You do not know that I exist. You died and I was born. Yet each of us are cells of you in flesh and blood and bone. Our blood contracts and beats a pulse entirely not our own.
Dear ancestor, the place you filled one hundred years ago, spreads out among the ones you left, who would have loved you so. I wonder how you lived and loved. I wonder if you knew that someday I would find this spot and come to visit you."
~Walter Butler Palmer

"Our death is not an end if we can live on in our children and the younger generation. For they are us, our bodies are only wilted leaves on the tree of life." ~Albert Einstein

TRANSFERS: I will gladly do transfer requests for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Requests for transfers outside those guidelines will be considered on an individual basis.

If you want links added or Information added to Bio, I can do that for you and it will be done promptly, and I will give you credit for the Information, provided the information is accurate.

Thanks for doing the edits and transferring the memorial. You are more than welcome to request it back. I am not related to him, but will manage the memorial if you choose not to. Have a wonderful weekend! Thanks!

Thanks
As you know, I did not ask for it- and of course-I am only an in-law, but will be glad to maintain it.

Can you put the photo of the headstone at the top of the page? Thank you so much for the photo of my brother's headstone at Georgia Veterans Cemetery in Milledgeville, GA.

Thank you so much for the photo of my brother's headstone. It means so much to me. Even though Milledgeville is not that far away, my husband and I are up in years and any trip would be a hardship. Thank you again. Sincerely, Gail Hammock
