RE: Mems. #168894603 &
Hi John.

I got the information from a relative on Ancestry. He has him born in the Camden District of York, SC. His father is Job, but no mother is listed.

On the 1850 Census, both Victory (as he's listed on Ancestry) and Elizabeth are the same age. I'm sure you're correct on her death date being actual burial date.

Thank you for adding them together.

Hello Mr. Land, my name is Sandra LANE Hughes. My mother's maiden name is Nash. Her father is Arthur Shannon Nash Jr. My great aunt is Mildred NASH Watson. I was wondering if you would be kind enough to transfer her memorial to me. My Find A Grave # is 48451949. Thank you so much.

Hi, I'm so sorry to take so long to send you a reply about Bettie Bowling. A fews year ago my husband and I took pictures of memorial stones and posted them on findagrave. Unfortunately, we are not related to the Bowlings or Lewis'. Marilyn Adams

Aderhold/t collection ---HELP
I managed to lose all 4 volumes. I cannot find anywhere to download the set or buy the set. My father and uncle were so cheap they bought a copy to “share” and never told us about the project – or responded to the project. I am now panicking that I will not be able to find one.

I will pay someone to take theirs to a copies/binder co to copy for me, or, if someone would lend me theirs, I will have it copied and bound for me- I have a client/friend that owns a large printing company. I would be glad to make several extras to make available to peo.

Linwood Cemetery ~ gravestones
Hello John. I'm sorry to bug you here (of course you can delete this) but I've sent about 4 emails to you at newsompage, over the last several months, and none have been replied to. Is everything okay with you? I'm trying to inquire about progress with our mutual interest in Judge Williams and Colonel Holland?

I was thinking, perhaps you could have the people contact me about the pictures as I am not moving them to an incorrect location. I am sorry that you are being bothered with this. Thanks and again, hope I can show you the cemetery soon.

I have thought about this and NO the pictures belong with the MIDWAY cemetery pictures, etc and to move these pictures to a memorial for New Park would be wrong. So please leave the pictures alone. I went to much trouble to photograph the pictures in that overgrown cemetery and I also researched the people carefully. The pictures are from Midway. I would love to show you the cemetery and the Methvin cemetery. So the answer is NO moving the pictures. I am not upset with you by any means but I am a firm believer in accurate history. Let me know when you want to see the cemetery. Winter is the time to go for sure. It needs help! The King history is funny and strange and I will explain that one day.

RE: Memorial #54948888
John, I am not sure I answered this but the picture was taken at MIDWAY Cemetery. This is so confusing as I don't understand why they want to move the pictures to NEW PARK in Fort Gaines, GA? I go to church with some of the King family so I will ask if they know what is going on with this memorial? Midway was not that far from the old plantation house I am restoring. The Church was repeatedly vandalized so it was torn down. The cemetery is in bad shape. I know some of the King history from my area. It is rather funny and strange. I am against moving my pictures because they were taken at Midway. If they want to post pictures at New Park, I will be glad to photograph the ones they say are there. But this headstone is at Midway Cemetery and I am friends with the land owner. I can help you find it, or meet you there some weekend. You need boots.

Let me look over the information and the transfer should be ok, but I am a bit confused by the request? I can give you better directions to the cemetery (Midway) because NOW is the time to go. You can see one headstone from the road. Also no snakes right now. It needs cleaning!

Again, let me read your request slowly and I will get back to you.

Happy Tuesday!
