I grew up and live in (Athens)Southeast Ohio. When I have the time, I enjoy doing research on my family history. I enjoy walking through cemeteries looking for family markers. If you wish to use any photos that I have posted you may. I take the photos and post them hoping to help others find their relatives markers.

As long as I am not directly related to the person I am willing to transfer memorials to family members. I post the memorials so that family members who are searching can locate them. Then allow them to take care of their ancestors memorial, if they wish. The number of memorials I manage does not mean anything to me. To me it is all about getting a correct memorial posted and hopefully then taken over by a family member.

I take many photos and sometimes will take over 200 photos a day. I try to get good photos, but some photos may unfortunately not be as good as I would like. Sunny glares across the stone makes some photos hard to view. I will usually post them anyways and many times will plan to try and retake the photo as soon as I am back to that cemetery. If I have taken a photo for you and the photo is not as good as you would like please tell me and I will be more than happy to try and retake. If it is an old marker I will let you know if I am able to get a better photo or not.

I usually accept all edits without verifying whether the information is correct. Unfortunately, I have had some edits come through that were correcting edits that I accepted that were wrong (ex. wrong parents or wrong spouse attached). I know I have made mistakes on my own, but if you find a mistake please ask me to correct the mistake. I do my best to keep the memorials as accurate as possible and rely on others to give me accurate information. Please send correct edits and message me if you find wrong information attached to a memorial. Thank you.
