|John Lewis||RE: Margaret Lewis Info Needed|
William Lewis disappears from the US Census prior to 1870. It is thought, though not proved conclusively, that he died in the Civil War in 1864. Another child was born to the family in 1866 in Pennsylvania. Her name was Ella Jones. Margaret married again to John Davis in 1869. In the 1870 census she is found to be living next door to son William Lewis and his family. Margaret married for a third time in 1881 to David T. Lewis. It is not known yet if he was a relative to William.
I added some of these events to Margaret's memorial and will post additional findings to Margaret and William over the weekend.

We spend plenty of time remembering bad people. Someone has to make sure the good people get remembered too.

Thanks you so much for trying. It's sad that so few have markers.

My sister's husband was from Storm Lake, Iowa. His name was Lowell Lichtenberg.

Leah - What area are you willing to search in? Perhaps you could put that on your profile.
My sister was married to a Lichtenberg from Iowa and they lived in Oregon. Maybe you are related. Thanks.

|Missing You||RE: Kautz - Ritzville, WA|
Thank you for checking on these gravesites for me. I haven't any record of Mathilda or Reinhart Kautz in our family tree. They probably were related to a common ancestor though.
Cool website. I love that type of thing! Best of luck.
