Bio and Links
Bio Photo We have been researching our family for about 30 years and have traveled to several states for genealogy. Many of our memorials are for "extended" family members, but others are not. We hope someone finds the information we post helpful in their own research.

Except for those photos listed within our *Posted with Permission* virtual cem, every tombstone or cemetery photo we post was taken by us on the date indicated in the photo caption.

-- All contributor-posted photographs are intended for PERSONAL USE, unless stated otherwise. To comply with current Copyright Law, you SHOULD NOT post (and/or republish) any contributor's cemetery or tombstone photos elsewhere without permission.

-- As contributors retain the copyright on ALL photos that they have taken and posted, it is actually NOT acceptable to just indicate you took the photo from Find A Grave (since this site does not own the copyright to any of the contributor-posted photographs).

Regarding our cemetery and tombstone photographs, specifically...

-- We will allow most instances of unaltered OTHER USE, but with the added stipulation that you MUST provide a photo source citation (by referencing both "Find A Grave" [or] AND our profile name AND # in the Description) for any of our photographs taken from this website; for example, "Photo courtesy of Find A Grave Contributor: Law-Miller Roots (#47103448)".

-- Note that you can provide a link back to the Find A Grave memorial, instead of copying (i.e. Ancestry's built-in "weblinks" function can be used for this exact purpose). This option works quite well.

-- Please do not download and then republish any family portraits we post, as these come from private family collections. Some of these photos still enjoy copyright protection and are NOT in the public domain.

Mary Polly Caylor Dinger
Find A Grave Memorial# 62925313 Ringgold Cemetery

Hi Marilyn:
I've got a question about Mary Polly Caylor Dinger, wife of Jacob. Is Mary related to you? I never remember which line you and I share...Brocious, Dinger. You took the photo of the headstone in Ringgold cemetery but the bio is by an LSmith. I emailed that person but haven't heard back. It lists Polly's parents as Henry Caylor and Susannah Brillhart. I found a book about the Brillharts in America. It goes into great detail about Henry Caylor and Susanna Brillhart. It lists all their children and Mary is not one of them. No where does it mention that they lived in Ringgold or Jefferson county. I do have a DNA match but she and I are in communication and both feel that the Brillhart line isn't right.
Second question, did you do DNA on ancestry? I was just wondering as I wanted to check mine against yours.
Hope your weather has been nice in your neck of the woods. I'm 70 degrees here in Raleigh today!!

Nancy Wilcox Babcock

I am doing research of Watts ancestors of Franklin County, Ohio. In doing so, I noticed that there appear to be four children located in Sandy Corners Cemetery in Dublin, Ohio, that probably should be linked to Nancy J. Wilcox Babcock (1822-1899) and Jacob Wilcox. These Babcock children all bear the inscription of son or daughter of "Jacob and Nancy". Jacob and Nancy lived in Washington Twp., Franklin County, Ohio for a number of years near Dublin. I believe these are their children, too. Nancy Wilcox is the daughter of Mary Polly (Watts) Wilcox. Please see the Washington Twp., Franklin County 1850 census for the families of Wilcox, Watts and Babcock. Thank you.

RE: George and Hattie Beahm
You are correct about Joe. He must be the one to update the information for George and Hattie. In my last message I was referring to the information that you added under the photo that you added to the memorial pages. You typed, "unoccupied grave." Both George and Hattie according to cemetery records were moved from the mausoleum to their present location in Block B. The graves are not unoccupied. My suggestion is that you might like to correct what you typed. Thank you.

Take care.

George and Hattie Beahm
Please take a look at the following two memorial pages, that have photos that you took in Maple Grove Cemetery.

George Beahm #50727402
Hattie Beahm #50727403

The bodies of both George and Hattie Beahm were placed in a mausoleum at Maple Grove Cemetery when they died. In 1982 when they tore down the mausoleum, they were buried in Block B, Lot 253, Spaces 28 & 29. There are dates for both on the eCIMS. Please update the info and send edits to Joe.

Thank you.

George Holben
the duplicate memorial for George Holben in Sacred Heart Cemetery is not mine. You will have to contact the manager of that memorial to ask them to remove their duplicate. Emma's memorial is not mine either.
