I just love genealogy. I got hooked several years ago. I just love walking cemeteries. Many old stones are gorgeous. I just love a good mystery to solve. Many time answers are just awaiting me. I just have to keep my eyes open. |
I add other stones that I see in my treks in hope of helping others. If I have added one of your family, I'd be happy to transfer "management" of the memorial to you. Just let me know. Please use the edit tab on the memorial to do so. That way, I can make sure that I am transferring the correct memorial. If you notice any errors, please let me know via the edit tab and I will make the corrections. Thanks. Please be patient with me about the edits that are sent automatically. I do try to keep up with them. Sometimes I do forget to check.
I lived in Green Township, a Cincinnati suburb for many years. I walked many of the cemeteries in Hamilton County, Ohio and Campbell & Kenton Counties in Kentucky. I currently live in Whitefish, Montana.
I walk cemeteries in Flathead County now.
You have my permission to use any photos I take for your family trees. Please credit me with taking those photos as CarolS on findagrave. Thanks.

|JM||Thank you for your fine work!|
Thank you for your extensive work in Hamilton County! Many of my ancestors are from there so your Find-a-Grave records and photos are a huge help.
Thank you also for your experienced eye and fine sleuthing!

Would you happened to be related to the Mayme? I have her in my tree, and needing more information on her. Do you know when she and John divorced? Do you have any info on her?

I went to Old Saint Joe's Cemetery and used a list of requested photos that I had put together in late July, I took 112 pictures today and thought that I had found 10 requested pictures. Upon trying to add these 10 pictures I find out that you and another lady had been working on the same requests.
Lesson learned. Check the list right before you head to the cemetery so you are not looking for pictures that have already been entered.

Hi. Louis Brune is my great grandfather. No, I don’t want to take over management, whatever that means. I was just wondering if you had any history information for Louis. I have tons of information for his wife, Mary, and then their (my) family going forward. I just don’t have anything on Louis’s history, like when he came to this country (maybe 1880?), or any other Brune relatives in the area. Genealogy research doesn’t help. His name “was” Ludwig. And for some strange reason, on the marriage certificate it says Lukas. After that he’s known as Louis.
I run into dead ends and then something comes up practically every spring and I start researching again. I actually just had help from a guy on find-a-grave to confirm Mary’s father, and he sent me to an Ancestry bio! So I thought I would ask you if you are getting information from somewhere else or just cataloging graves with what’s out there. Thanks.

Wow, your memory is amazing. But you remember things by color like I do. When I worked at the Filson Club in Louisville I would say things like, 'You know, that little red book on the top shelf in the southeastern room of the library.' Not very technical, but it's MY filing system so I have to work with it. :)
|Todd Whitesides||RE: Hemmerle Family|
Sure, of course. I just wanted to pass a message along about it before I forget. Hope your travels are fun and safe.

Several listings of yours for this family at St Joseph Cemetery in Wilder, Kentucky are duplicates. Do you mind to take a look as time permits and see what you think?
