RE: Charity Cemetery
I have ideal what you are calling downtown Castleton but I do know where the Pickett Cemetery is and it has been off limits to everyone since the death of Etta May and her husband Albert. Their son Buddy would not let anyone cross his land to get to it. My husband' grandmother was a Pickett, she was Albert' sister. Her and my husbands brother was buried there but when Buddy more or less closed it off his parents my in laws had them moved to the Horton-Dalton Cemetery which is just up the road from Patterson behind the second house on the right. He's a Dalton and I live in Patterson. Now that Buddy has passed I don't know if the Pickett Cemetery is still off limits or not. I think his wife is still living and he has 2 sons one is Tony and my husband doesn't know the others name, if that's any help. I'd try and talk to his wife if you're still wanting to visit the cemetery. She lives right beside of Picketts Chapel on Paynetown Rd. I'm sure you know where I'm talking about. It's just passed Charity Church on the right. You turn onto road her house is white and right there as soon as you turn, then the church and then just a little way passed the church there's a road or driveway that's going up to a doublewide and that's the road that takes you out to the cemetery. This is what my husband has told me anyway so if I'm wrong about anything I'm sorry. Please let me know if I am okay. Cindy

Hello again,
Thank you for your generosity in transferring:

With your help, I have successfully connected her with her parents, three of her six siblings, her husband and three of her five children.
As I receive more information, I will be adding to Our shared memorial.
With sincerest appreciation,
