I am generally happy to transfer memorials providing the requester is a direct descendant within four (4) generations per Find-A-Grave guidelines and providing that the requested decedent is not from my own direct lineage. If you want to make additions or corrections, please do so using the edit button.

Life is currently quite busy so that my time is very limited. Rapid posts will not happen so please do not expect them. I am quite behind on obit postings so please help me by identifying the source of your obituary, the date, your name and ID #, and whether or not you have secured permission from the obit source to post their material. There are copyright issues at play so please read the Find-A-Grave guidelines for posting obits.

Please forward corrections or additions using the EDIT button. Requests sent by email with vague or name only information will be ignored.
I lack the time to research that which should have been included in the request.

With the prodigious number of new memorials being added to Find a Grave on a daily basis, duplicate memorials should be expected. I follow the general Find a Grave guidelines: the earlier memorial takes precedence. Please check the date of creation; if my memorial is the later one, I will remove it. If my memorial predates yours, not so much.

Rude, snide, impertinent, and sarcastic, and whining comments are delete-button fodder. The old saying, "You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar," applies here. Cretins will be ignored or deleted with robust enthusiasm.

RE: Penninah Landis Caig
I wish someone would have wrote this down as it happened. Susannah Zimmerman did remarry an Elias Strasser, August 20, 1850 in Snyder Co. She had two children with Elias Strasser, Jacob and George. George is my GreatGreatGrandfather. She married John Spriggle, September 4, 1855. She had at least six more with John Spriggle.
Susannah's child, Henry C. Landis, do you know what the C. stands for? Sorry I am not much help either.

Penninah Landis Caig
Thank you for taking a look at that picture. I agree with all your points about it. I cannot prove it is her, so I think I will remove it from her page. I do not want to mislead anyone.

The 1850 Census has Peninah Landis living with William and Sarah Zimmerman and their son Miles. William Zimmerman is Susannah’s older brother(Penninah's uncle).

As far as Henry Landis (Susannah’s first husband), what else can you tell me about him. You have dates of 1824-1896; do you know where he is buried? He obviously was not part of Penninah’s life.

Thanks for your help.

Ralph Paul Behrens (#175287567)
Hi: Ralph's ashes will be interred (on 7/15/2017) next to his mother - Valrene Helen Duginski Behrens (#37973365) at Saint Francis Catholic Cemetery, Merrill (Lincoln County) Wisconsin. Would it be possible to note the location on Ralph's memorial page? Thank you, and thanks for all your Find-A-Grave contributions. - Tim
