My husband and I grew up in central Indiana and currently live in Indianapolis area. We've been doing genealogy for about 6 years and have traveled extensively around the country tracing our families and their burial sites. We have been doing cemetery walking in central Indiana area since February, 2009 and love it. We are both retired and are able to spend a lot of time doing what we love.

I am getting a lot of requests that don't have a member id# or links to the memorials. Therefore, I will no longer make change requests without this information.

William Beckman May B. Liberty, Ind.
First off thank you for your dedication to others and the search for genealogy. My Grandfather, William Beckman May B. 06/02/1907 was born in Liberty, Indiana, interned in Baldwin, Michigan, and was the oldest son of James Henry May b 1864, D 08/03/1962 and Susan K. Beckman-May who are buried in Milton, Indiana. Both James and Susan met in the Indiana School of the deaf. Charles H. May of Milton, B 1913 D 2013 was my great uncle, as was James Henry May Jr. B 1911, D 2006, and Maxine Margaret McGuire May was my great aunt. Another Great Uncle SSgt. Kenneth May, USAAC, died 03/06/1944 in a shot down B-24 in Germany and is interned with the entire flight crew in a communal grave at Saint-Louis Barracks, St. Louis, Missouri.

I am related to the Hunts in the Milton area as my Grandmother was Charlene Odessa Hunt-May b 02/1914, d abt. 1994, daughter of Harry and Edna. Gerald, Duane, Paul, Kathleen, Helen, Harry Jr., Robert and Twila are all my great aunts and uncles. Fred Hunt is my second cousin, Jeffrey Lee Hunt D. 08/18/2005 was the brother of Fred.

I have been looking at my ancestry for some time, I am trying to locate who Samuel May's father was, Samuel was the father of my GG James Henry b. 1864, in Missouri, and I know Samuel's father was born in in Virginia about 1790-1810. James Henry's brother and sisters according to family legend, all passed away from scarlet fever and it left James deaf and mute. If you ever stumble across anything, I would appreciate it and in your debt.
Mr. Clare Alexander May, New Mexico.

West Lawn Cemetery Hagerstown
Hi Susan - Sorry I sent you so many edits for the Macy burials in West Lawn Cemetery all on the same day. I was on a roll and lost track of how many I had sent. Promise I will do better next time. Thanks for creating all of those memorials. Sure saved me a bundle of research time. Bill.

james Earl Starbuck
GM Susan,

I see you have a Hobart Starbuck listed as the son of Earl and Bertha but actually it is Benjamin Hobart Starbuck who died in 1962 and not the Hobart you have who died in 1967 in Ca. Ben H is from Indiana and died in New Castle. Death cert shows him being buried in Southmound with his wife. I need to investigate this other Hobart further
thanks
Mike

Please add link
Hi Susan, was wandering South Mound Cemetery today looking for a specific grave of an old friend.
I see that Claude M. Smith #173329741 and wife Merle #173329749 are unlinked. Could you please fix this when you have time?

Many thanks!
