Many of these memorials are no relation. I am happy to transfer to any family member those I have no interest in (regardless the relationship). I do have an interest in all the Indiana memorials, but will consider transfer on an individual basis. Please explain your relationship to the deceased.

Dear Kathy

Vera is my Aunt and sister to my father. We happen to have a wonderful memorial set up for her. You may view it #114014137. Will you please be so kind as to remove your memorial.

Thank you very much.

I noticed you had a note attached to memorial 97124962 in Morning View cemetery in Wallace, Nebraska that maybe this is a misspelled name. The correct name is indeed McCarrell. There are McConnell's in this cemetery but this is McCarrell. Thanks

RE: Fillmore
I have a copy of the death certificate. Under the cause of death the coroner wrote:
Found dead in home on Feb. 13, 1930, Thursday noon, by neighbor. He was hermit who lived alone, examination made, no marks of violence found, no inquest held. Apparently died from natural causes & old age. Dead about 5 or 6 days when found.

I can add the death certificate to the memorial if you like.

You can search on for free. I use it all the time now, don't have a membership to This is the site for the Mormons, The Church of Jesus Christ for Latter Day Saints. They're working on digitizing all their microfilm records. I learned that while visiting one of their libraries.

I am a Vermont Civil War buff, and am working on a project to identify the last resting places of many "old soldiers" that had ties to Vermont. may I use the photo you contributed to Josephus Voodry's Find A Grave memorial page, to post on the Vermont Civil War site? (
You would receive credit for this.

Thank you for your consideration.

Anna McDonald Find A Grave Memorial# 21492651
Anna was the daughter of Angus McCuaig or McLeod and Sarah McGill. In the part of Scotland they are from the surnames McCuaig and Mcleod are interchangeable. It was common to use the surname McLeod after Immigrating to a new country as this family did. Anna was the first child born in this new county which eventually became Canada. She grew up there using only the surname McLeod. She married Alexander (Sandy) McDonald and they moved to the United States with several small children.

Who were this Abraham Rush's parents? Is there any way of finding them and adding it to this memorial?
