RE: Transfer
Marilyn, I know you didn't ask for a transfer, but even though these people we write memorials for are no longer with us here on earth, I still feel better if they are under the management of a family member or friend. I hope you don't mind.

RE: Halff baby
Hey Marilyn, What cemetery was the baby buried in? I'll go back through my pictures and see what I can find out. Chris

Katherine Bowen memorial

I just wanted to notify you that the memorial page for Katherine Bowen has been changed. I realized that I entered it in the wrong Shiloh Cemetery. It should have been the one in Antreville, Abbeville Co., not Anderson Co. I appologize for the mistake. The new memorial page is now posted for you to leave flowers.

I have been researching these names for awhile. I find there are several spellings. My ggggrandmother was Matilda Adeline Busby Young. She was born in TN and died in Boone Co, AR. I have also acquired a large trunk full of photos and a few funeral cards. One of these cards had a few Buzbees as pallbearers. This line lived in Texas. Any information would be very appreciated. I am still trying to confirm Matilda's husband's name. I believe it is Silas Young.

Many thanks for the reply Marilyn. My COOPERs who went to SC and my ANDREWS who went to GA were in NC earlier...some known COOPERs still in NC. I'll see if looking at Orange County more closely is helpful.------Audrey

Delphia A. Lindsay
Marilyn, Delphia may be related to my ggg grandmother also named Delphia LINDSEY / LINDSAY. She was born about 1811 in SC or GA and I've never been able to pin down her parents. However, you line in St Francis County may be a link.

My Delphia and her spouse Benson G. COOPER b SC came 1845 to Crittenden AR for a year, then moved to St Francis / Monroe Co AR. Their land was near Brinkley where reportedly Benson died about 1863 on his farm about 3 miles below Brinkley.

This COOPER line ties to my ANDREWS / ANDERS line and some are buried in Posey Cemetery, St Francis County. Benson G. COOPER's son Dillard L. COOPER b about 1838 SC became the last / 3rd spouse of my gg grandmother Parthenia "Theny" ANDREWS, known as ANDERS generally in AR. Parthenia came about 1856 with her parents and extended family aned she was married then to George M. HOUSE. Her sisters were married to MUNS / MUNN men ...3 brothers. I found land for these lines in the area of present day Monroe Co where Woodruff and St Francis are near each other.

Any information you have on the parents of your Delphia b 1858 might be helpful. Perhaps her father was a son of or descended from the same line that produced my Delphia.
