I live on the southside of Pittsburgh. I am focused on picturing complete cemeteries. I have almost 300 thousand pictures of 170 cemeteries. I have begun uploading thru the bulk upload beta program. Some of my cemeteries require transcribers with a language proficiency e.g. Yiddish and Serbian, hoping that FAG will add this to their wish list.
My pix are primarily to provide info. I am not embarrassed if you want to submit a request for a better picture; then I will remove my pic.
The Beta program for uploading large files, as most of mine are, has caused a good number of issues. Please contact me with any issues or solutions. Thanks

RE: Transcribers
Just needed another project to work on and this seemed worth doing.

RE: Bucks county
I undoubtedly have relatives in western PA since there was a Mennonite migration there in the early 1800s.

RE: Transcribers
Transcribers are supposed to check for duplicates but they often don't. Because the shooter manages the memorial, they have to take care of duplicates.

Once again the memorials were made from photos you submitted making the memorials your responsibility. I have done all the work and research for you to be able to correct the mistakes. As manager of the memorials you are responsible for the accuracy of them also. If they are in the wrong cemetery they are not accurate. If you had stopped in the Office and asked Mark for a Map, it clearly defines the 2 cemetery boundaries and you would have known exactly which cemetery you were in when you took your photos.

Monongahela/St. Mary's
Even though these two cemeteries share boundaries they are completely seperate entities. Monongahela Cemetery has no authority over St. Mary's, it is run by St. Damian of Molecai in Monongahela. The known duplicates need to be deleted a couple of them you might not have seen because there were spelling errors. I have photographed every stone in both of these cemeteries they are completely clear, in focus and legible. It took me 2 years to get these two cemeteries cleaned up after the last time someone dumped memorials in one that belonged in the other. Please go in and delete your duplicates. They are easy to spot.

Okay. Shame to lose the picture though. May I inquire as to how you will be getting all of the additional information on the photo/memorial. Might I assume it is a functionality of your camera? Thanks, Pat

Re: William Jordan at Valhalla Cemetery
Hi Bill,

My friend (USC Girl) and I have searched the entirety of Valhalla Cemetery 4 times and have not found William Jordan. Would you please call the office and verify he has a headstone and the exact location of his burial? Without this information he may never be found. This is a very poorly maintained cemetery. I had to have a headstone for another requester dug out from under 3" of grass a few days ago.

If he does not have a headstone, but you would like a picture of the area and gps coordinates I'm happy to do that for you.
