Elizabeth Hopkins Crosby
Thank you for sponsoring her memorial. If you have any additional Hopkins descendants I'd be interested to know about them.
Thanks again,

RE: Hulda Lord - one more piece
Cindy (my wife) and I ordered a copy of Hulda's Death Certificate from NY State Vital Records with a hope that it will name her parents. IN a few months we will find out if we find out anything. If we do you will be the first to know. Marsh

Final thoughts - for today
Thanks for your excellent continuing help!

I too have considered Esther as a possible second wife for George, but I have not ruled her out for the mother of Esther and sibs because Esther would have been 20 when Hulda was born.

Thanks for the feedback on the Pulaski Cemetery. I had not clicked on the fact that many graves are still to be added.

as for the George in Palermo, he is a possible son, but until I find George's death I am leaving the door open. I genuinely appreciate the wise thought you have given to this listing. You deepen my confidence in Find a Grave. And a much appreciate the time you have spent lending me a hand!

RE: Hulda's parents
Medore, Thanks SOOO much for the clue about Hulda's father George! SO I went searching and this is what I have so far:
1769 George is born in NY State
1800 (Cen) Geo is in Paris, Oneida, The county where Hulda declares she was born.
1805 His dau Hulda b. in New Hartford, Oneida, NY
1850 (Cen) George H., b abt 1869, NY, is living in Richland, Oswego, NY w/Ether Lord@65, Thos. Hatch @33, Lucy Hatch@26
Who is Esther? George’s sister? NOT his daughter. ANcestry search yields nothing but this census.
Is Lucy daughter or grdau.?
1855 (Cen) Geo. U. is listed with WIlliam McChesney, Hulda and family in Richland.
1860 (Cen) Geo. is gone (died?) from Richland. He would have been over 90.
1860 (Cen) a George Lord living in Palermo, but no details available about him.
1869 G. Lord Shown on Map of Palermo

Well, I will keep you up to date about my search if you are interested, and if ou have other ideas to help in the search for George H or U and his anonymous wife, I'dlove to hear from you! Your thoorough research is a blessing!!! Marsh

Continuing questions re George Lord
Hi Again, I wonder also if the unpublished manuscript made the same mistake that you AND many people in Ancestry have made, and I made until today, mistaking the father of our Huldah who in my mind is still unknown, for George. Do we have a reliable source for any father's name for Huldah Lord McChesney? Thanks! Marsh

Hulda's parents
You suggest that Hulda's parents are George Lord and his wife Hulda. They appear in Find A Grave. His memorial is Find A Grave Memorial# 128000783
This is NOT the father of our Hulda, as his daughter Hulda Lord, Find A Grave #83145725 of Hartford, CT Married a Frederic Pease and died in CT. Most people cannot die more than once. :) If I am wrong please correct me! If you can find our Hulda's real parents I'd also appreciate knowing! Thanks! Marsh Hudson-Knapp

Ok, I will delete mine, hopefully they will make your changes. I love the gravestone pics on the other one. You can see how old they are. I'm surprised those think stones survived as long as they have.
