Got the Info Added Thanks
|James Greiner||John and Emma Schmus|
Are you relation to John and Emma Schmus? Do you have documentation to support your requested changes?
If you are related, I have no issue transferring management to you (even if it falls outside Find A Grave guidelines). I always prefer to place memorials with persons that are (even remotely) related or who knew the person (or family). I merely took the picture and created the memorial.
Thanks again. If FG gives awards, I nominate you.
|F. Norris||William H. Phields|
Thank you so much for your assistance.
His wife even though it says died in Norfolk, is buried in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. His wife at time of death was Julia A. Tysor, but I could not find the mrg record.
Blandford Cemetery has a data base of all interments including civil war.
search for City of Petersburg virginia Blandford Cemetery records. The page will come up with a picture of Blandford Church with last name and first. Then it will show info as to where they were interred and other info. You should see his bro A.M. Fielda, and his wife and infant child under Phields and his mother under Ann Audas or Auders. He has a sister Rose Brown, but I am not certain of where she is buried.
Thank you so much. Francs Norris

This is an unmarked grave, however his name and his date of death are listed, I would like to know if their is anything in cemetery records that would identify him for his families. I believe that he is William H. Fields, born to Ann Rochelle and James Fields in Petersburg, Virginia ca 1858 and at some point ca 1870 or 1880 changed the last name to PHIELDS. After or about the time that his wife died he moved to Norfolk and married again. In 1907 he fathered a daughter and in 1910 another son. I have determined that this is William H. Fields (Phields) from Petersburg based on the dates of his last childrens birth and his wife Julia A. Tysor's remarraige in 1913 and she is listed as a widow. I have looked in Virginia death records and could not find as well as North Carolina records.
Hoping you can give me some lead on verifying if I am correct. I recently discovered I am a DNA match to the PHIELD name that I knew as Fields.
Thanks for any info you can give.

Thanks for getting this photo for me. I truly appreciate it. :)
|Paul Lemuel Bowden||John Darnell Ghiselin|
Thank you for creating the links from John Dyson Ghiselin and George Reverdy Ghiselin to their father, John Darnell Ghiselin (183859863).
I have been pondering whether the footstone with J.D.G. on it, that you have pictured for John Dyson
Ghiselin is not really that of his father, John Darnell Ghiselin.
