Bio Photo My McEwan grandparents divorced when my Mother was 2 in the 1920s. She never knew her father, even though there were only two McEwans in the telephone book. My own father made connections with him and we met. He died shortly after that. I was so curious about him, as he was an unknown and I started rooting around the library in college. Never did find any particular reason for the divorce, but it certainly gave me the "itch" to learn more and do research.

I am glad to make changes, corrections and transfers. Please follow the guidelines of Findagrave and use the edit tab at the memorial.

Happy Hunting!

RE: Ellie House

His wife, Nettie, is buried in Belle Passi. Thus, I believe he is buried in Belle Passi? Thank you soooo very much for making this correction to my Great Uncle Ellie Columbus House's monument.

E O Alexius Peterson:
Thank you for having added the photo of the headstone of my long-gone relative, who left Sweden for the States in the early 1900's. It was very nice to see that he rests in such a serene place, surrounded by nature, and that he got such a nice and detailed headstone, despite passing away at a young age and with no spouse or children.

Alice Kemp
Hello, I am curious about who might have provided this information. Alice Kemp was my grandmother, my father's mother. I would love to know a little more information, as I have no way to contact any other relatives. I know that she had another son, my Dad's half brother. Thank you!

Doonan
Hi- You have a memorial put up for a Arthur Doonan but I believe his name was Armour. He was my 3xs great grandfather. I'm just curious to know how you got the name Arthur because all of the records I have for him list his name as Armour. Including newspaper articles about when he was a police officer and my 2xs great grandmother Libbie's birth and death certificate. I would just like to know if I need to go back and re-research all of my information.

Kind Regards,
Melissa

RE: Ethel Potts
Montgomery and Stewart funeral directors in Pueblo, CO and Mountain View Cemetery are owned by the same people and on Montgomery's web site you can click on geneology and search for people buried at Mt. View. There is always a death date and sometimes even the birth date and the age at death. Kay
