I am a treasure hunting fanatic. I will look for almost anything just for the satisfaction of finding it. I am glad that, in this case, it also helps others.|
My other searches include all 50 state "Curiosity" books, "Stones and Bones", "Covered Bridges of New England" ..... (You get the idea)!!

Hello, I am working on a project to locate all of the final resting places of soldiers who served with the 2nd Wisconsin who were a part of the famous "Iron Brigade" that fought during the Civil War. This project is to not only locate where their final resting places are, but to also see if their stones may need to be cleaned, repaired, or installed as well as gather as much information about that individual as possible. There will be a website up very soon that will have each soldier listed with their information on their own individual page. I was wondering if you might be willing to have your picture of his stone be used for the website and this project? I will give you full credit under the picture.
Thank you very much for your time and also photographing this hero's stone. It is very much appreciated.

You added the wrong head stone to his page. I have added the right one. The one you added had a dob of 1855 I think it is his father. Memorial# 39367040

Dear Carolyn, Thanks so very much for going to the Togus National Cemetery and getting the photos of the two above mentioned Civil War veterans for me. I really appreciate it as I am sure that I will never be able to visit there in person.
